Pants For Guys With Too Many Gadgets
from the it-had-to-come-sooner-or-later dept
For many guys I know, the "too many gadgets" problem is a serious one. It's tough to figure out ways to carry all of the gadgets you tend to carry around on a daily basis. Most options (clipping everything to your belt, an "e-holster", etc.) are incredibly geeky looking. So now, along comes Dockers with their special pants for the ultra-geek. The slacks have seven "invisible" pockets designed for all your gadget carrying needs. There are some pictures of these Dockers Mobile Pant at the Dockers site. The article complains that these pants are only for guys, but women at least can carry a purse without looking ridiculous. Of course, I wonder how "invisible" the pockets really are, or if there are just going to be odd bulges all over these pants.Thank you for reading this Techdirt post. With so many things competing for everyone’s attention these days, we really appreciate you giving us your time. We work hard every day to put quality content out there for our community.
Techdirt is one of the few remaining truly independent media outlets. We do not have a giant corporation behind us, and we rely heavily on our community to support us, in an age when advertisers are increasingly uninterested in sponsoring small, independent sites — especially a site like ours that is unwilling to pull punches in its reporting and analysis.
While other websites have resorted to paywalls, registration requirements, and increasingly annoying/intrusive advertising, we have always kept Techdirt open and available to anyone. But in order to continue doing so, we need your support. We offer a variety of ways for our readers to support us, from direct donations to special subscriptions and cool merchandise — and every little bit helps. Thank you.

ultra geeks
I have to disagree with your use of the term "ultra-geek." Ultra-geeks wear all their gadgets on their belts. Someone who wears special pants that hide all the gadgets is more of an "uber-geek."
