Buck Up Or Keep Whining
from the what-do-you-expect? dept
Charles Cooper over at News.com is
whining that tech CEOs are whining about how bad the tech downturn is these days. At one level, he's right. There are plenty of technology CEOs out there complaining over just how bad the economy is. In some cases, they're justified, even. If they're lying to their investors, they could get in trouble. However, there are also plenty who are
not complaining and who
are coming up with new ideas and new business models. It doesn't take much effort to find a few. I would have much prefered an article that looks on the positive side, and sets an example by showing what many CEOs are doing to buck the economic trends, than one that just whines about CEOs whining.
