Test Post On The New Server

from the test-post dept

Sorry to waste this space, but this is a test post. We moved servers today, and we're still trying to work out a few post-move bugs, and this post is really just to make sure that posting still works... Thanks for your patience, and if you notice any serious problems, please let us know.

Thank you for reading this Techdirt post. With so many things competing for everyone’s attention these days, we really appreciate you giving us your time. We work hard every day to put quality content out there for our community.

Techdirt is one of the few remaining truly independent media outlets. We do not have a giant corporation behind us, and we rely heavily on our community to support us, in an age when advertisers are increasingly uninterested in sponsoring small, independent sites — especially a site like ours that is unwilling to pull punches in its reporting and analysis.

While other websites have resorted to paywalls, registration requirements, and increasingly annoying/intrusive advertising, we have always kept Techdirt open and available to anyone. But in order to continue doing so, we need your support. We offer a variety of ways for our readers to support us, from direct donations to special subscriptions and cool merchandise — and every little bit helps. Thank you.

    Test Comment on new server

If there is a test post, shouldn't we test the comments too?

Thanks everyone... actually, when I posted the original message, neither it, nor the comments were actually working... but it all got fixed later last night, and everything looks good now. Thanks for testing it out.

So does this mean I won't have to hit the refresh button 5 times anymore whenever I come to techdirt?

I love the fact that you don't have to register to read the articles, or post replies.

Keep up the great work guys!
