Daily Deal: KeySmart 2.0 Compact Key Organizer

from the good-deals-on-cool-stuff dept

Today's Daily Deal features 26% off of the KeySmart 2.0 Compact Key Organizer. Sure, some might have you believe that once the Internet of Things takes over you'll never need to carry any keys -- as they'll all be stored deep within your mobile phone. But chances are you've still got keys jangling around on a key chain, and that's not going to change any time soon. So get them a bit more organized. This former Kickstarter project holds up to 10 of your keys folded neatly in line and keeps them from clanging and jangling about in your pockets or purses. You have to hurry as this deal only lasts through the end of today (9:00 pm PDT). You can still use TECHDIRT10 for 10% off of your first purchase through the Techdirt Deals store.

Thank you for reading this Techdirt post. With so many things competing for everyone’s attention these days, we really appreciate you giving us your time. We work hard every day to put quality content out there for our community.

Techdirt is one of the few remaining truly independent media outlets. We do not have a giant corporation behind us, and we rely heavily on our community to support us, in an age when advertisers are increasingly uninterested in sponsoring small, independent sites — especially a site like ours that is unwilling to pull punches in its reporting and analysis.

While other websites have resorted to paywalls, registration requirements, and increasingly annoying/intrusive advertising, we have always kept Techdirt open and available to anyone. But in order to continue doing so, we need your support. We offer a variety of ways for our readers to support us, from direct donations to special subscriptions and cool merchandise — and every little bit helps. Thank you.

      Re:

That's unfortunate... most of the products in the store actually do ship to Canada for a price bump of only a few dollars, which is nice, but looks like this one is US only. Sorry about that!

    Love mine

I carry this (have been for ~6 months), with 5 keys in the carrier, plus my car key outside, because of the remote on the key itself. Keeps my keys from jingling or sticking me in my pocket. More compact, and keeps them from scratching my phone screen, on the occasions that I put them into the same pocket.

    Plus I paid $20...

      Re: Love mine

Just ordered a couple - one for my usual 7 keys (minus car), and one for my wife who carries around probably 50 keys (i'm hoping she'll try it out and maybe invest in a couple of them to organize her keys into groups)

Does anyone find that they have to tighten the Keysmart occasionally because using the keys loosens the fastening mechanism? I'm concerned whether it loosens over time with continually swivelling and selecting keys and might even fall apart, scattering keys everwhere, if not carefully kept tightened. Any experiences?
