Thank you for reading this Techdirt post. With so many things competing for everyone’s attention these days, we really appreciate you giving us your time. We work hard every day to put quality content out there for our community.

Techdirt is one of the few remaining truly independent media outlets. We do not have a giant corporation behind us, and we rely heavily on our community to support us, in an age when advertisers are increasingly uninterested in sponsoring small, independent sites — especially a site like ours that is unwilling to pull punches in its reporting and analysis.

While other websites have resorted to paywalls, registration requirements, and increasingly annoying/intrusive advertising, we have always kept Techdirt open and available to anyone. But in order to continue doing so, we need your support. We offer a variety of ways for our readers to support us, from direct donations to special subscriptions and cool merchandise — and every little bit helps. Thank you.

    Location of Exams

"Once you are ready for your exam, you can make an appointment to take the official exam at any center worldwide"
I can not find anything on their website or google where these exams can be taken or the cost.
This package sounds super fantastic, but I live in Southern Alberta, Canada. Would I have to travel to the USA or something? That would not work at all.
    Anyone know anything?

      Re: Location of Exams

      Super-King,

Which test? The tests that require you to show up to a particular location usually have testing service providers with locations in Canada/US/Mexico... are you planning to take all of these exams?

      for example: http://www.isaca.org/certification/pages/exam-locations.aspx

        Re: Re: Location of Exams

I see Calgary is in the link you provided.
Have you personally done these online courses before?
I would like to take the 4 course bundle.
I searched SAIT and they offer nothing, NAIT has 3 of the 4. It would be great to know how much the tests cost, because the NAIT site is not telling me.
I just want to be 100% that I can take the tests in Alberta and this is a time sensitive deal, right?

Re: Re: Re: Location of Exams

          The exams cost up to US$750 , that's a lot for a $59 course.
          Can anyone spell scam?

Sorry, but I don't have personal experience with these tests.
