These can actually be useful to those of us who cut the cord. Its hard to top the weather coverage you get from local stations.

  I was listening to a local weather forecast on one of the big four network affiliates when the weather person said that we would have a north wind and explained that this meant the wind is blowing towards the north. The anchor sitting at the desk asked about it and said she thought that a north wind comes out of the north. The weather person said the anchor was wrong. This weather person is the main meteorologist for the station. Yikes!

The cable is only 10 ft long. That is great! I don't want to be involved in any law suits for using an antenna with too long of a cable.

RU a retard? This is for receiving an over the air signal that is specifically broadcast by TV stations so you can watch it for FREE! You can't steal or "Pirate" something that is being broadcast for free! SHeesh!

I tried this or a very similar model last year. It didn't work at all. I'm perhaps 10 miles from downtown Atlanta, but in a bit of a topographic depression. Maybe if you live in a high-rise downtown it might work.

  RF television transmission, commonly referred to as over the air, is line of sight. It does not go around corners but is reflected. Therefore it does not matter which antenna you use, it will not work well because you are in a low area where the signal; does not reach. You could try mounting the antenna on a tall pole.
