Thank you for reading this Techdirt post. With so many things competing for everyone’s attention these days, we really appreciate you giving us your time. We work hard every day to put quality content out there for our community.

Techdirt is one of the few remaining truly independent media outlets. We do not have a giant corporation behind us, and we rely heavily on our community to support us, in an age when advertisers are increasingly uninterested in sponsoring small, independent sites — especially a site like ours that is unwilling to pull punches in its reporting and analysis.

While other websites have resorted to paywalls, registration requirements, and increasingly annoying/intrusive advertising, we have always kept Techdirt open and available to anyone. But in order to continue doing so, we need your support. We offer a variety of ways for our readers to support us, from direct donations to special subscriptions and cool merchandise — and every little bit helps. Thank you.

    Doesn’t Actually Include The Software

Looks like you have to pay extra for the actual software that you’re getting the training on.

Might I suggest you learn about Free Software instead, like Gimp, Krita, MyPaint, Inkscape, Blender and so on. The nice thing is, you can get an ∞-day trial version for any of them, which gives you 100% of the features of the full version, for $0, which is a 100% discount. Or get a special Linux Distro Bundle, which includes all of them, plus an integrated full-featured Crash-Proof™ OS to run them on, for a further $0.

Then at any time before the ∞-day trial period is up, you can upgrade to the full versions for a small one-off additional payment of $0.

That sounds a bit better than Windows 10, doesn’t it?

      hee hee hee
      you sly dog...
as kampers may know, adobe REALLY does not want to 'sell' the software, they want to get you on yhe hook to 'subscribe' for approximately a pound of flesh per month...
as it so happens, my work provides this suite, but i really only use a very small subset of cmds for my work, but i might be interested in these tuts to get a better handle on using more features...

    Actual Software Doesn't Exist.

For me it looks like you have to pay extra for the actual software that you’re getting the training on.
