Daily Deal: RoboForm Everywhere 4 Year Subscription
from the good-deals-on-cool-stuff dept
Coming up with secure passwords is difficult enough. Remembering them all is another feat. You could write them down somewhere or give Roboform a try. This end-to-end solution makes generating and organizing strong passwords super simple, while allowing you to still access the sites you frequently use quickly. Supported by AES 256-bit encryption and powerful password auditing, RoboForm keeps your passwords safe across every device you use. The 4 year subscription is on sale for only $30 for a limited time.

Thank you for reading this Techdirt post. With so many things competing for everyone’s attention these days, we really appreciate you giving us your time. We work hard every day to put quality content out there for our community.
Techdirt is one of the few remaining truly independent media outlets. We do not have a giant corporation behind us, and we rely heavily on our community to support us, in an age when advertisers are increasingly uninterested in sponsoring small, independent sites — especially a site like ours that is unwilling to pull punches in its reporting and analysis.
While other websites have resorted to paywalls, registration requirements, and increasingly annoying/intrusive advertising, we have always kept Techdirt open and available to anyone. But in order to continue doing so, we need your support. We offer a variety of ways for our readers to support us, from direct donations to special subscriptions and cool merchandise — and every little bit helps. Thank you.

Thanks, but no
And that's when I discovered RoboForm had made it difficult to export your information. If memory serves, it only exported part of the URL, which makes the data less than useful.
I've migrated. And I'm not going back. When a company holds your data hostage to keep you from leaving them, you're better off never, ever going there.
