Model year: 2011 ... so that would be a series 2xxx-ish type of i5
and the 500GB is mechanical storage, not SSD, so it's going to be quite slow by today's standards.

imho you should just donate this thing to a library somewhere, it's almost 10 years old.

For the price, it's more capable than an Arduino or Raspberry Pi at not much more expense. If you're into tinkering with this kind of thing this is a pretty good deal.
