Comcast eats Media One

More cable industry consolodation today with Comcast's acquisition of MediaOne. I have to wonder how this will benefit consumers. Its not really a matter of choice since you rarely have a choice of cable companies. What advantages does the combined entity bring to consumers and businesses? Faster rollouts? Better service? Lower rates?
