That running comment about the mob knowing if you kill them you can;t get paid anymore.
While PHARMA might like the idea of getting every possible cent from the covid vaccine, a lower population means that all that money they spent on evergreening & stopping generic versions from coming to market of their big sellers will not be useful.
Covid doesn't obey borders so even if they think its just those poor folks we don't give a shit about dying they can cross a border. Leaders of several countries are still trying to pretend covid is fake news, its spreading like a wildfire and mutating at a rate no one expected because the science assumed that leaders wouldn't outright lie about it & take steps to contain it.
We have 1 shot, and thats to get all the shots everywhere on the planet.
How many more rounds of mutation until the current vaccines fail to stop a variant?
How long until we actually start beating the crap out of leaders who are more worried about the economy than the death count?
Following this will be a picture which will land in moderation but it pretty much sums up the stupidity here.

Well now that he made his own playground, I highly doubt he'll come back to any platform that lifts his suspensions.
He discovered that his bullshit has consequences & that he can't bully them into allowing him to keep trying to start another insurrection.
He now has is own little kingdom where he can say whatever he wants, no one can tell him no, and one can only hope he'll talk himself into charges.

There are still people claiming that Trump was the best President ever while ignoring 500K dead.

"American innovation is dependent on the protection of intellectual property. It encourages innovation by discouraging theft."
drops the several patents for making a PB&J here
Da'Faq is wrong with you?
Discouraging theft.
Ah yes recalls the story but can't find a link but I'm mostly right in recalling the big details.
Someone went down in a drug store, another customer grabbed a sugar testing unit (IIRC) off the shelf, discovered other customer was super low. They then arrested the good samaritan for stealing the blood tester.
IP matters more than human lives, exactly how does this fulfill the promise of it being for the benefit of the people?
Millions of dollars were wasted on the lawsuit over checks notes ROUNDED RECTANGLES ON A PHONE.
Imagine the horrors that might have happened if China had stolen this super important tech & abused it to lead to... cats laying down with dogs!!!!!
We had vents that could not be used because the maker couldn't or wouldn't provide parts. In the name of patents the national stockpile of supplies didn't have ANY vents that were purchased (and magically the company that bought the company turned out a unit really similar with a much higher price). When people tried to find ways to SAVE PEOPLES LIVES, the first response what to threaten to sue them.
These are the kind of people who would sue the fire department for draining their pool to save their house.
The world used to be much better when regular people could zip into radio shack to pick up a replacement tube for their TV & knew where to put it because they printed the damn diagrams inside the tv's.
Now everything is a secret black box, can't be repaired by us, we can't even be told everything is is learning & reporting back about us to FSM knows where all in the name of protecting profits no matter how they manage to get them. Everything is designed to fail & we have to accept it because its a crime to open up the things you own & try to fix it yourself.
They see me as a criminal...
My iPod(1) (running the RockBox Firmware) died after a fall off the bed. I then cost Apple trillions by using a specialty pry tool to open the case, bought another aftermarket battery, then stuffed in an ide to cf converter and put an sd card into a SD to CF adapter, stuffed it all back in, then used iTunes to restore the basic firmware, then put RockBox on top of it.
So I now have a working iPod with way more storage space, longer battery life. And I'm an evil evil criminal to these IP assholes.
(1) My frankenipod, put together from 2 hand me down ipods that stopped working for their owners that I tinkered 1 working & 1 parts pool out of. The horrors of not spending $800 to get a new music thingy...

In a rational world they would have already been fired.
But hey its gonna be a bumper day for defense lawyers who are going to look for every case these officers touched & file lots of cases.
They are willing to use their position & the legal system to punish someone for successfully defending someone in court... what are they willing to do to citizens when no one is filming.
Oh and they had no problem lying to the court to get a warrant so how can we trust any testimony they've ever offered?

Not all conservatives are assholes.
Stop pretending that the reason the leaders of the insurrection are being "picked on" is because THEY CREATED A FUCKING INSURRECTION!
They are so quick to pull out the zomg they only did this because I'm conservative & the masses run to protect some of the largest assholes even they can't stand because conservative.
Hawley has come out against the 1st Amendment in action & deed while screaming he believes in the Constitution & anyone trying to call him out is pounced upon by the conservatives he summons screaming they only attacked him because he is a conservative not because he is a worthless human.
I'm still waiting for him to apologize for all of those conservative insurrectionists who stormed the capitol. I mean he expects all Muslims to apologize for the actions of others they don't even know & were not involved in. Hawley cheered them on to storm the capitol... not a freaking peep.
Its a pity that the Post is on the bandwagon of everything is destroying print news while doing shit like this...

Its a horrible law up until it might protect us from liability.
This courts findings so far are that Ford is liable for selling cars to Hertz to rent to people who then used them to get away after robbing a bank.
It is rather disturbing that all of these cases surrounding Backpage are getting any traction... I mean innocent until proven guilty still applies doesn't it?
You can't claim others were breaking the law in cahoots with Backpage when there's been no show trial with a compromised judge at the helm finding Backpage broke the law. Well unless you're a grand standing asshole trying to get paid by the deepest pockets your mind can imagine were involved in a crime that as of yet has never been proven.
