Having given up Naruto (the series) because of those annoying fillers I laughed hard at that comment. And considering this made up to the top of the week you now have a good idea of the characteristics of part of your most active audience!
Add a requirement to put the product on the market to both retain and be able to litigate on the patent. The simple trolling would be greatly decrease. We also need to deal with independent discovery/invention and split eventual gains. And I'd make startups more resilient from most patent litigation by imposing a mandatory license for new, small companies.
Plenty of stuff need to be fixed indeed. Good to see the flaws being called into attention with hard data.
Just add a printer that gives copies of the vote, one to the voter if s/he wants and one for a physical urn that can be counted as well for auditing purposes. This alone would make things much safer.
Nice to see this thing being properly tackled. I wish they did it here as well.
The funniest part of this is the almost absence of Trump trolls. If they can't say "What about [Hillary, Obama, whatever not related but certainly partisan]?" to divert attention they have nothing.
That. I think stopping the Republican cancer from doing more damage before the mid-terms is hard at best, Sisyphean at worst. But if they are exposed in their behavior and sponsorship... at the very least there may be a big shift in the legislative side, which can help keep Trump and Pai at bay (among others we know are doing real damage in other areas).
Apathy? No, no my friend, it's plain old collusion between A Shit Pie and Republicans in general with the telcos. Rural areas are not profitable, it's not worth laying the cables and you can't have people not being gouged by your abusive practices on the wireless part, right? Which is why the govt should be protecting those people. But it seems money is worth much more than people to A Shit Pie.
Hope this further extended middle finger to Americans is also contested in the courts.
And it would be very interesting if suddenly all games lost their copyrights. Ohh boy it would. I actually agree with copyright to protect from commercial exploitation by other commercial entities.
It's not really surprising, is it? I mean, the IP lunatics out there have sued grandmas, single moms, retired elders, students and even printers. We should be directing our rage towards the utterly broken system that is intellectual property as a whole.

No, I agree with him, Facebook is and should remain free to moderate as they please the platform. It doesn't mean there are problems with this as well given their size but I'm not so fast to advocate govt intervention like some people here.
Recognizing the problem doesn't mean I agree with you.

Treating a 16-yr-old as some sort of dumb idiot when he is the one with some mental handicap seems pretty ironic.
