Why were those supposed emails in the clear and not encrypted? or were they? This sounds more like US propaganda than anything else. You would think real terrorist would encrypt their email communications.
It hasn't been all that long ago the Soviet government would have been decrying the US for just this sort of thing. Who would have ever thought the roles would be reversed in such a short time?
