Also, as others mentioned, they pay for licenses to do this, if the NFL doesn't pass on the money that's an issue between the players and the NFL and has nothing to do with EA
Identity theft is a huge problem that affects millions of Americans each year. If a crook stole your most personal information and used it to make a buck, you'd be furious.
And, of course, that's illegal. But if you are a corporation, you can steal all the identities you want for profit.
That's not just using the wrong word, that's just being a complete idiot

Lol, well while anyone who is semi-knowledgeable knows that they are a bunch of dishonest thieves who will take your pictures and other files they like, that would not stop them from adding this to there already crappy Geek Squad services, and charging ridiculous amounts. And unfortunately I'm sure there are people who would use it too.
allowing consumers to convert their libraries “easily, safely and at reasonable prices.”
That seems to contradict their program. As the second part of the illustration demonstrates that is how to satisfy all of the above. Anything that requires me to do more work, is not easy, and paying for something I can already do with something I already bought cannot be reasonably price. And where does safety come in? Will I hurt myself when I rip something myself? Requiring me to leave my house and drive somewhere is definitely not as safe as sitting in my computer chair.
Needless to say, mobile companies are not happy at the flood of free messaging services piggybacking on their networks.
Last time I checked I was paying for the data these services are using, and still being throttled if I used too much of my 'unlimited' data
With non-porn they have to (or should have to) verify that it is in fact infringing content and not just fair use or parody, or a non-copyright holder attempting to take something down. With porn, they just have to say, yes, this is porn, no further checks necessary
offering credits for people who upload popoular illegal content
Because legitimate content creators wouldn't be using that as an incentive to use the site at all...
Because with youtube and porn it is not a question about whether or not it is copyrighted material. youtube does not allow any porn at all, legitimate or otherwise

And for sites like megaupload that would be following the DMCA. They even went beyond 'reasonable measures' by allowing the *AAs access to delete files themselves. With that much content you cannot police it yourself or as the AC below stated, Also again, it makes them more liable for the things they inevitably miss

You don't think BB will jump on this as another way to overcharge what remaining customers they have?
