The German gov't is know liable for your driving...since of course they obviously approve and control every bit of the 'users' using their roads, right?
probably because it's quite expensive to ship live 'cargo'. But it's a valid tactic that I'm sure will be used before long. Hard to argue with recorded temps in the 100sF when you promised AC accommodations.
UA specifically wants *only* business class customers. My cousin married a Kiwi, and on their annual trip their, even the steward/esses said so explicitly.
They make no money on 'people' fares. Only biz class, so they go out of their way to impart that with service to match.
My own experience flying to London from DC was the same. The English crew was nothing but proper, nice and downright welcoming. The American crew was hard pressed to care about even providing food on a multi-hour flight.
Computer OS's are still a monopoly by MS. Hand helds, tabs, phones, etc, obviously not.
But market share in the desktop world is still heavily in MS's favor. Apple as a PC maker is still miniscule.
The total number of computer 'devices' has exploded and MS has had little of that growth, but their 'core' market for personal computers (pcs/laptops) hasn't changed a whole lot.
So wouldn't basically every minority party in government fall under this definition? Obviously they want to 'influence' the current majority party out of power...
One caveat is the different ways music is consumed vs a movie.
You tend to listen to a song multiple times, so a streaming service becomes useful because renting it per use is something that can make the creator more money.
Movies are generally watched once...maybe twice.
The economics are significantly different when considering a the pay for play type licensing of streaming.
It's a changing world, but without acknowledging the differences of what is being offered in the changing world, changes are doomed to failure. And yes this goes both ways, both from people/streaming providers and from the movie studios themselves.
Can we send a few cases of Champagne to the NSA? After all, they will certainly want to be popping corks now that the country is checking up on them and making sure they are making us safer.
this is what I would expect a spy agency to do. Work the available contacts (i.e. people with information they want) to garner useful tips and leads and yes phone numbers.
Then target 'those' specific numbers for ongoing intelligence efforts.
And frankly of Merkel of Germany was giving out a number that was used for anything *other* than talking to the US for diplomatic reasons, I'd be amazed. I'm not sure how much of these numbers really would produce much intel.
