Most hardware manufacturers will offer a free licensed upgrade to Vista probably a couple of months before Vista arrives... the same happened with 98 and ME. Upgrading w/o losing your data is a different issue.
They've taken so much schtick for security, that if they really have the security figured out, this delay probably won't be remembered.
I thought getting spammed, phished, and spywared is what most e-mail users and providers worried about now a days... Weren't the last serious e-mail server software hacks like 10 years ago? Setting up and adhereing to good e-mail policies should be 2nd nature to anyone who's used e-mail. Is the FBI really that far behind?
