The problem with that is the members of the jihad.
Even if "the other" side (US/Canada, the rest of the world) decided to quit, the jihad would not.
The root cause is their ideals. As far as they're concerned, the entire world needs to live under their regime.
Thank you, but no.
Frankly, I'm on the side who just wants to nuke them. That's problematic too, since they aren't all in one place, and they aren't all able to be identified visibly. Because one dresses like a muslim does not make one a member of the terrorist group.
I won't pretend to know the answer, but unless individuals fight back, I see no real way out. These people kill if you refuse to join.
Canada's courts call it an exception, and also a right, provided the use actually is considered to be fair. What's considered fair seems fairly restrictive, and also confusing to a lot of people.
Considering the weather this February ... the Ark would need skis.
Today ... -19 (wind chill feels like -38). Just came back in from it. Yeah, I believe the scientists when they say global warming is an issue, whether those scientists are environmentalists or not.
I care a lot about the environment and do my best not to pollute it any more than it is ... I don't drive either (my mode of transportation is usually my two feet) so I suppose I better watch my back.
... sometimes you wonder if it just wouldn't be better to end up shipwrecked on a tropical island somewhere.

Re: Re: no other animal gets clean with soap!
Scent free means scent free ... and a body that smells (like onions or pot) isn't scent free. Also not big on greasy hair.
I transitioned to natural scent free products a while ago, but it seems they still would kill the little devils just as fast as chemical products.

NOT. My mom had Alzheimer's, and she never played any type of video game in her entire life. None ... ever. They never owned a computer at all.
That "tenuous link" has to be the MOST tenuous link I've ever seen.
Both of my grandmother's also had it. No video games.
One of my aunts had it. No video games.
And her daughter had it. Also no video games.
My cousin's wife had it. No video games.
