AJ, the bottom line is that none of this so called property is property of any kind. They are in fact part of a service and should be treated as such. Just because copyright says it's property does not make it so.
Last week, on Monday I had my non public, InMotion ftp server gone thru with a fine tooth comb. I received an email claiming I had placed multiple copyrighted works and commercial software in a publicly available folder. It also stated if I did not remove the content in question that my account would be canceled.
My site has never been public and the software files were BU of my originals, and the content was a few episodes of "Sons of Anarchy", how fitting.
I attempted to comply and my account was already shutdown. I was able to get i touch with a support person and finally after 2 days they gave me access and I removed all content for now.
This was all in the name of routine system maintenance, i have had this account for 1.5 years with some of the original SOA DL and they never bothered. They had clear warning Homeland Security sweep.
This whole thing is beyond funny now as TPB is deemed the crown jewel of all sharing.
FYI TPB is the least used among those who share these days. It is nothing but one giant advert. It is nothing more than nuisance to use, and the torrents are barely legit as well as the reviews are lies.
One more thing is that you can create a new gmail account with all of the channels (streams) authorized or not, it connects to anything on chrome, as bookmarks and sync to this account as well as let as many of your friends do the same.
It's your own version of boxee, "youboxee". The networks are doomed.
It's so funny how even here on TD that soooo many cannot grasp what GTV is, it's a browser running on a client, it goes anywhere on the net, what's so hard to understand?
Who gives a crap about blocks, they are the equivalent of sticking your foot out to trip the moron in a hurry.
There is no GOD, and paying for only the connex is the point, the content is free, you just choose to pay, and may the flying spaghetti monster visit you tonight.
I do not need any points, I will just fill up on 1s and 0s, that's all they are.
I just love it when religion crops up into the matter, like it really means something.
This is Googles whole plan, they do not want to look like the bad guy, they just handed the gun to the bad guy instead.
As for the block they do not block chrome on any sites now, it does not work well on some but not blocked, this would be a big deal if the content weasels tried to segregate browsers, i am sure google would speak up as they already have about this.
GTV is nothing but a collection of apps, and each app is it's own show or series. This is the way of the future. Hulu is nonsense and going to die a quick death. The networks cannot block a GTV box, it's just chrome with a pretty menu. When they even try it will be a laughable event.

Hope so cause TPB isn't a very good source for anything more than unwanted popups these days. They have caved to the spam industry.
