Or just hop on Usenet, torrents, ftp sites and download for free and play the dam games without the restrictions that paying customers have to suffer thru after shelling hard earned cash.
Yup EA wants a cut of that money that GameStop is making, but sorry to say EA and a lot of the other gaming companies are fault. They made their bed with GameStop and drove a lot of the smaller mom & pop shops out of business.
I had the same issues with an LG phone on Verizon. I was so livid with the CS Rep at the Verizon store. They kept telling me the sticker red is and that my daughter dropped it and had it soaked in a liquid(water). I was look at the phone there’s no sign of abuse and that how can you prove that Humidity and condensation didn’t cause the sticker to turn red? They had no real answer and keep repeating it and saying that I need to buy a new phone at retail price! I ended up calling Verizon directly and I told them if I had to buy a new phone I’m taking my account elsewhere. They sent a replacement which I needed to exchange three times because of defects.
With DVR's, PVR's, and things like sling box why does anyone wanna pay extra for mobile TV? I already pay close to 90.00 for cable(3 set top boxes) and the excludes what i pay for internet access and the extra $30.00 that i pay for mobile internet on my smart phone.
Warner Bros. owns DC comics which makes the Superman comic. They knew the risk was low and the potential was high. Warner got to triple dip here. The made money off the license of the comic to TV, distribution fees, and low balled it to networks they owned and made more money of their air time commercials. I wonder how many Warmer Music artist they plugged into the show and money they made of licensing that?
Their survey of 10 random theaters (and confirmed by an informal one I did on Fandango by punching in some zip codes from around the country) showed an average 4.1% increase in ticket prices for 2D movies this weekend. Here in New York, that's translating to about $.50/ticket
