Cop #1 Lets send a text to all these cell phones to find the murderer.
Cop #2 How will that work?
Cop #1 The cell phone that is shut off is the murderer.
Cop #2 But won't the murderer know we would think that?
Cop #1 Yes he would, but since we didn't catch the murderer in the act they must be intelligent so they would know we would think that.
Cop #2 Oh, so they will not shut their phone off?
Cop #1 Correct. Except being a murderer they won't trust anyone so they will suspect that we will be setting a trap with the texts and will be afraid to receive the text. So the will Shut their phone off.
My parents refused to pay for television and I inherited that from them.
I recently moved and I am now a Comcast subscriber.
BUT I have their teleworker internet only. I pay $39 a month for internet that is 4 times faster than my previous century link that cost more. $39 includes their modem and because it is "business class" they are no additional fees and if it is out for more than 30 minutes they owe me money under the SLA.
Justice would be that after all this the judge then finds that Pierre-Paul suffered great damage because he played with fireworks and NOT because of any reporting subsequent to that.
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Maybe there is some truth to this
I know of at least one person who is now working in IT because 6 years working with "worse cops" was all he could stomach.
This may also explain why no one volunteered. "Good cops" find it hard to be around the "bad cops" just the way most of don't want to associate with those that under-perform and are disruptive at our jobs. You take only so much then leave/change careers.
I think it is quite plausible that getting rid of them will create a more attractive work environment.

Cop #2 You truly have a dizzying intellect.
Cop #1 Yes Lieutenant, and that is why I am the Captain.
