I'm just happy the tide is shifting away from professional athletics, if you can still call it that, it is more like performance art. Now if sponsors will just pull back from the baseball, hockey and basketball leagues & NASCAR as well....
They perhaps are a bunch of crooks. I get an interstate subscriber line fee on my land-line bill, and I don't even have long distance with them. I've tried to dispute it, but no joy. I've been crammed several times but at least those charges were removed when I complained. I don't have a lot of choice, if I want land line and DSL so we will continue the dance for now
I disagree. The indexing on TPB should be an industry standard. The best site is the one you can easily find things on, it should also verify torrents, as TPB does with its trusted / VIP symbols. The Best site is also the one people use. Cloud computing depends on a large group to work well.
There is room for improvement, if only the rest of TPB was as well indexed as the TV section.
I know I am insulted that the government is proposing to help people behind on Mortgages they should never have taken to begin with. My house is paid off, & not without a lot of sacrifice. I don't have cable, drive used cars, seldom eat out, take in a movie once or twice a year, & Now I should have my taxes go to help someone who is irresponsible with their finances?
I tried that, selected a nice Nikon, no accessory package and paid. I later got a call that they were out of that model and could substitute a higher priced one if I would pay the difference. Pretty obvious bait and switch. I canceled & bought a top of the line Nikon from local Craig's list & picked up in person.
I hope the regulators have done something about those scam artists.
Most commercials / ads can be viewed once with no problem, twice is usually still ok, but after that it begins to do the opposite of intent, in repelling the intended target. After that it begins to build resentment in the target to the point of product boycott if carried too far.

Hardware, for some reason those who expect content to be free have no problem building a $2000 computer to make it happen.

When copying is outlawed only outlaws will copy
I can't imagine it changing behavior at all, most people already think it is illegal, but do it anyway.
