Don't forget to mention the cases never filed because there is a chance they might not win.
(See also IRS audits poor folks cause its easier)
IIRC there was a case of a railroaded black man finally set free after far to long & a huge pile of evidence he was railroaded.
The state has a program to pay him for the wrongful incarceration, if he lives to 110 he will finally collect the few hundred thousand dollars he is entitled to after spending many years (decades?) in prison for a crime he didn't commit.

No need to run, I have accepted that I have the superpower of tripping moderation at will. I was just sort of shocked that no matter how careful I try to be I trip it lots and this MFer posted obvious spam and it made it past the moderation bot.
I post grumbling about moderation because I lack a hobby.
Mike & the gang usually are pretty good at checking the moderation pile and setting my posts free (sometimes a little slow there boys) but I can only guess how many thousands of posts are in the queue as well so sometimes I don't stand out.

Isn't this the same paper where no one approved an editorial that ran that was completely insane?
"They do not take responsibility for the content they publish in the same way that newspapers do — and the law does not require them to."
Umm because they aren't newspapers, they aren't soliciting articles for publication, the just provide a forum.
You know... like those silly forums newspapers once had but then removed because engaging with the public was the wrong image & some people said mean things.
"almost impossible for legislatures to enact carefully drawn laws that protect the integrity of the digital public sphere."
[Citation Needed] Having read many proposed laws that were "carefully drawn up" I have yet to see one that doesn't screw up the digital public sphere to appease some small faction and given their track record of the crap they pass & the untold harms they were warned would happen and then DID happen... the word carefully isn't in the lexicon.

So blocking all of the content from appearing in Canada wasn't enough?
Deleting some posts were not enough.
Suspending accounts was not enough.
Exactly what is enough?
Rather than suing the people saying the bad things about him, he is suing the thing they used to say these things.
If I put a poster on a light pole with the pizzagate content about this person he can sue the local hydro provider?
Twitter did not write the content, yet they are being held responsible for it being posted.
The people who actually wrote it aren't being sued, just the company with the deep pockets, in a country willing to allow legal tourism because he was unsatisfied with Twitter not devoting every possible resource to protect his reputation (which given QAnon has targeted him, Twitter is only 1 of a few hundred places they are posting about him eating children.).
Of course if Twitter did the smart thing & removed him from the platform to protect him from the evil evil content he'd have a problem with that too.
"Why not demand that they do that?"
For the same fscked up reasoning that keeps americans from suing gun makers when their weapons are used in mass shootings.

But it allows lawmakers to say they heard the complaints and did something, its not THEIR fault the law they wrote was filled with escape clauses & loopholes.
By the midterms their constituents were patting themselves on the back that they had solved the issue & promptly forgot that reports should be coming because attention span of gnats.
