Vazquez, script in hand, somehow then sold the screenplay to a Hollywood production company now known as Aloe Entertainment (then known as Proud Mary Entertainment) for close to $1 million with a 10% royalty on any profits from the movie.
That was a bad deal for Vazquez, everyone knows no Hollywood movie ever makes any profit.
*cough* Idols The Netherlands, where one year, they had the people who didn't make the auditions were put on a show on the field of a large football stadium at half time of a football match.
Off key singing and showboating from the ex-contestants and whistling and booing from the audience. It was embarrassing to watch: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OIKkUTn1Wuc
It's a sad state that despite the obvious conflict of interest, he still gets to reside over the cases from BREIN. And usually those are ex parte, so a very one sided argument follows.
Sadly, that Net Neutrality law wouldn't have prevented this verdict, even if it had been in place for months.
The Net Neutrality law just makes it harder for ISPs and other service providers to charge extra money for use of services like Whatsapp and Skype over their pipes.
It's in English, and they're French? [/stereotype]
But you are absolutely correct. And I don't think AFP beliefs what they said in court over this. But merely hoped to confused the judge with it, smoke bomb tactic so to speak.
Hmm Viacom, perhaps I should stop watching The Daily Show and The Colbert Report. It's a shame, but I do not wish to see ad-dollars go to the parent company of Comedy Central.
Indeed, Rosa Parks should have obeyed the law and should've just gone and sit at the back of the bus. [/sarc]
No I'm not saying that by using an ipad on an airplane, makes people the next Rosa Parks, I'm just highlighting the stupidity that was sniperdoc's statement.
“But here's some advice, boy. Don't put your trust in revolutions. They always come around again. That's why they're called revolutions.”

"They don't make sense, the IRS, DHS and TSA doesn't make sense. But, you know what... I follow the rules anyways."
Same here. I still follow the rules, even though they may seem injust and rather arbitrary.
But does that mean I can't talk about it?
Does that mean that we can't have a discussion about it?
If we all just shut up and did nothing about any of the rules that don't make sense, nothing would ever get changed, in fact the rules would become even weirder/stricter.

Re:
If they were to put that clause in the show contract for all 'talent', then what would the incentive of winning the show be?
And would the label include the less than talented talents that fall off at the beginning of the talent show?
Could get costly for $big_label.

Right, I have never heard of people doing that. Me thinks Perfect 10 is grasping at straws again and they think they've found a soft target.
