Yah, and if they (CIA) feel that the oversight folks need an audit just have the FBI do it, cause you know they are going to conduct it in a totally professional way and not use any underhanded or illegal tactics, like parallel construction, enhanced interrogation, warrantless searches, not mirandizing anyone in custody before questioning them, or anything else, 'cause you know, they're "professional".
"It would be like me writing this blog post without once mentioning the name "Feinstein." I wouldn't know how to do it, and I'm almost in awe of the propagandists who do."
Just replace her name with "that constition shredding bitch representative from the San Francisco bay area"
Oh wait, not specific enough. Nevermind. I guess you're right.
"The world's foremost intelligence agency is nothing more than the world's most secretive cubicle farm, staffed with supervisors more interested in coasting towards retirement at the helm of the placid USS CYA then actually addressing an employee's concerns."

"...the misdemeanor becomes a felony if the captured images are "distributed"..."
It is my understanding that distributed means being in the custody of more than one "person" so when the NSA or GCHQ strip the images off your store security system network, while you are checking you live feed remotely, that you have now distributed the material. Double burn.
"Mr. Snowden gives real whistleblowers a bad name"
I'd posit that Rep. Mike Pompeo gives real Americans a bad name.
I mean this guy is worse for our image than I was, in checked shorts, a striped shirt and a camera with a giant lens when I was playing tourist in the UK and France all those years ago.
My mom agrees with your mom, however my dad taught me that the only time two wrongs do make a right is when the second wrong is that which is perpetrated against the traitor when they hang by the neck until dead.
If you tax a constitutionally guaranteed and protected right out of existence from all but the super-rich what is to stop the honorable defenders of the constitution from taxing your right to free speech in to oblivion as well?
Remember to protect the rights you like and enjoy you must be "the bigger man" and protect those rights which you do not like or enjoy.
