Since his conviction hasn't been overturned (yet), he'll most likely remain in prison. It will be interesting to see if he is granted a new trial.

If SCOTUS agrees to hear this case, two things are assured to happen.
1) Roberts side with the government. He picks the FISA court judges after all.
2) Clarence Thomas will sleep through the whole thing and/or not ask a single question.
