a significant risk that Megaupload will simply ship the servers, hard drives or other equipment -- and all of the infringing content they contain -- to a foreign jurisdiction and relaunch the infringing Megaupload service.
And this folks is why piracy will never go away until the MAFIAA gives the public what they want how they want it.
If I take a picture of something, or someone, I own the rights to said picture. Same thing goes for video. Rights go to the "creator" or the person that takes the video. Since this was in a police car, and they can't claim any rights on the video (public record) the video is in fact public domain.
There was an article similar to this where some monkeys got ahold of a photographers camera and took some pictures. There was a big discussion on who owned the rights to the pictures. Since animals can't claim rights, I think the pictures ended up in public domain.
Disney does this exact thing. They lock all their movies up in their "vault" only to bring them out for a "limited" time (normally during the holidays) for the buying frenzy...Then back they go to the vault...
That's the last thing the Government needs...Educated citizens. Why do you think they're working so hard to "pass" students with policies such as "no one left behind." Also, the money that US states spend on prisons has risen at 6x the rate of spending on higher education. http://t.co/7BaxIzQd. Why don't we stop trying to put everyone in prison and start educating them.
All the crap music that's out there now will go away. Artists will be able to create real music without the record companies pushing for the next auto-tuned big hit.
The only thing I can see is if he was using a flash with his pictures. At night, a flash can temporarily blind you. If that was interfering with the police officer's duties, I can see charges being brought up for "hindering apprehension". Other than that, I see nothing wrong with taking pictures of "public figures"
Gotta love the "TSA". If they're the same morons that run our airport security, I don't even want to know what they're going to try to do with their stupid policies.

The iPad is the ONLY computing device they can afford??? You really need to think about that statement.
$500 iPad vs. $200 for a comparable android tablet...That's one of the many things I don't like about apple. ALL their products are about 150% overpriced.
Actually, you may be correct. None of the routers I connected to had the default pw. They either had the pw set to the same as the SSID, or actually had it as part of the SSID
Not 100% true. There's plenty of places where I go that have unsecured open wifi. I've been able to get in the admin settings and look around. Don't really need to go change anything, but I could if I wanted to.
noting that Lohan's filing doesn't actually address the pretty clear legal issues raised in their initial motion... and also pointing out that perhaps the reason the filing is so nonsensical

THIS is the #1 cause of piracy. Remove all the region encoding, and make everything available everywhere. All that crap was available before the internet made everything global. Now that there's a global economy, sell your products globally.
