People keep suggesting this, and yet I wonder. Do people truly believe that this would/could happen? I doubt they get their internet through the consumer branches of any of these ISPs that signed the agreement. More than likely they're connected through dumb pipe commercial providers who won't bother with such agreements.
I hardly describe her front yard as a 'mess.' It's well-groomed and well-maintained, and only one neighbor complained. ONE. Everyone else loves it, so please you are the one being an idiot. Nothing she's growing is an eyesore. I've grown all those out in the front, myself (considering my yard, both front and back is the size of a postage stamp). It's people like you that refuse to be 'neighborly' that are the real issue, these days.
Anyone touching me in a way I find inappropriate is sexual assault. I don't like strangers touching me AT ALL, let alone in close proximity to such sensitive areas. These searches often go beyond what you are trying to describe.
"Headquartered in Basking Ridge, New Jersey,[4] the company is a joint venture of U.S. telecommunications firm Verizon Communications and British multinational mobile network operator Vodafone, with 55 and 45 percent ownership respectively."
Would seem to me that you are at least partly wrong. Please hold on the personal attacks. They aren't doing you any favors.
As was previously pointed out, Verizon owns controlling interest, so it might as well be the same company. Policies aren't really all that different between them, are they?

"The government does not get a free pass to spam merely because it's convenient or because it has something it wishes to communicate or because it has notices to issue."
Err... Yes, they do. Anti-spam laws do not include communications of legal matters, and if you think they do a judge might have something to teach you.
Accidentally left it unattended, or just left it unattended, the result is the same. He had no creative input, and thus it is not a creation of his efforts.
If what you say were true there would be no fair use. However, since the article was discussing the photos (why you claim it wasn't evades me), there is his fair use.
