That confusion is the controlling factor for trademark concerns and any claim that the public is going to think this small dog-walking company is run by or is affiliated with a world-renowned rap group...
About as much as i was confused thinking that WTC was Chinese, and had something to do with the film Shaolin vs Wu Tang. Or the martial art form or mountains of the same name. Or a video game.
It's always nice to appropriate shit and then claim you are the one who made it famous or built goodwill (well, with some) identified with it.
Seriously, dude could do with a better name for walking dogs, but this is ridiculous.
Re: Re: OH, NOW you want 3rd-party liability! Hold FCC liable for bots, eh?
They didn't file the proper paperwork demanding information including, but not limited to, all IP addresses and any PII related to anyone ever visiting the FCC site, and someone's mother's soul.
I was going nuts, trying to figure out why i could not get threaded view, until i realized that the first link has threaded=false in the URL. This caused the further realization that techdirt is probably the only place i don't actually look at a link URL before clicking.
Really, this had me wondering why we don't have "delivery boxes" built in (or on) already. Just a box big enough for most packages. It's unlocked until whomever delivers something, and locks it. Great even for the packages they would leave without a receiver present anyway.
Love the milk chute -type boxes though. Right next to a locked door, it rendered the door a bit pointless.

Masnick is taking cheap (and entertaining) shots at an incredibly bad lawyer. All y'all can go right ahead and keep making whatever you want to out of that.
Also, i think Putin's toll army is hiring and looking for advisors. You guys could teach them a thing or two.
Re: You innuendo but don't dare say that the allegations are true...
Who the fuck is "you people"?
Never mind. Let's just look at the fact that prior Republican elected officials and opponents also knew there was something up with this guy in the past. Current Senate conservatives have said they have a problem with him. He was also suspended because he can't manage to do his job. Beyond that, he's clearly a moron and i think we have a glut of those in Congress already. There, how is that for an attack?
Pff when was that game not political? Weird how politics is all fine and dandy until a handful of elected Federal positions are in question. Or maybe it is just the angle of the politics which is the problem - fine when it is going the other way. But most of all, i thought the popularity of the game was for it's utterly offensive components.
But I don't know. Is that actually a frequently asked question, or did they just add it to a FAQ? (FAQs frequently don't seem to bear any relation to actual questions that are asked a lot. They seem to have gone the way of "white papers".)
If it is a ruse and a ploy, then those who made the accusation with fake evidence (and zero other evidence) would be the ones behind the diversion, yeah?
