Get a private tracker, it will auto download for you, and popular shows have about a 4 minute lag to first release, which for those of us on the west coast equals about a 2 hour advantqge over broadcast....
Now I've been following this on SFWeekly all day, and theres a lot of misinformation floating around.... I really hope he files a formal complaint against this Tony dude, but we really won't know whats happened until that happens.
This is the core point to remember, but also that if you remember, when Steam was first rolled out during the CS 1.4-6 days people were upset because of the level of DRM it introduced... look how far things have come.
Seems like there is an opportunity here for a middle man to charge a nominal fee to create and send DMCA notices while acting as an agent for the copyright holder.
Oh, not that it has anything to do with her privacy invasion, which is very real, but that people should be smart enough to realize that when a deal is too good to be true, check it out. There are other ways to ensure spyware gets installed even through a format reinstall than baking it into the BIOS and someone actually trying to sell their laptop for a reasonable price probably wouldnt do. Dont worry DH, if liability was properly applied to these 'people', instead of just rights, then you might be able to decrease your forced cookie intake
This is unlikely to be the case, because there are MANY flavors of linux that would not be affected by this lawsuit, and those are actually used less than the ones that are... I would suggest SCO doesnt matter one bit to anyone.
Thats quote does more to highlight the inherent hypocrisy of the Catholic Church, in that, if he had convinced them he didn't exist, the quote wouldn't either.
