Intellectual capacity is complex, and its measurement is not particularly meaningful in any precise sense. Not does it predict behavioral capabilities.
I once knew a severe Downs who could not take care of herself. So severe that she could not speak under most circumstances. But she taught herself to read from her father's law books. We used to say that was what caused her difficulties. It was assumed that she was engaging in mimicry until someone noticed that she always held the books up the right way.
An example: If she was asked what she wanted for dessert (ice cream was the standard nightly fare,) she could not reply. But if asked again with the words ice cream written on a piece of paper in front of her, she could then say "ice cream." Clearly part of her problem was I/O.
In short, IQ does not necessarily correlate with the level of skills and abilities. There are often great surprises, especially at both ends of the spectrum.
"Witnesses, friends and family members uniformly described Pruitt as a "child" - a teenager with an IQ of 51 who cannot tie his own shoes, soils his clothes, has little verbal skills and lacks the ability to distinguish reality from fantasy."
I am truly shocked that the FBI admitted that one of their own was a terrorist.
Yes, such wins in court are great. But in the escalating war on the citizenry, it only means that testiliers will be better prepared for trial. There will be fewer contradictions to pursue for the rare judge who cares about such things
You can also use the HDMI connector from your computer and plug it into the HDMI connector on your TV. About 30' is the maximum distance that HDMI will go, so avoid the 50' and up connectors for sale.
Some 60K soldiers were killed, 500K wounded in the Vietnam theater during that "little war." 5M were present. So there was a 1.2% of dying, a 10% chance of being wounded. Many of these soldiers were draftees, or enlisted to avoid the draft. LBJ ended grad school deferments destroying life ambitions. Marriages were destroyed by long separations. For pay that was ridiculous.
Today's cops have talked themselves into a belief that there is a war against them when the death rate of cops is about 100 per year -- less than 1/5 that of taxicab drivers.
They are a bunch of self serving wusses who bully the defenseless, empire building and power seeking wretches.
I have no understanding of why anyone would bother to pirate anything produced by the entertainment industry. By definition, such a person would be mentally incompetent to stand trial.
Like most fields there are multiple levels of understanding. As an example consider the proposition that 1+1=2. Probably learned by most children before they start kinder-garden. Yet its formal proof is usually not encountered until graduate levels in mathmatics. A fairly short proof (about 50 steps) of this can be found at:
I don't know the details of Google and YouTube, but a number of well known artists artists of movie and music genres have said they have never gotten a dime from royalties. That creative accounting practices have eaten up every bit of profit made. A couple of people I knew in the business backed up the likely veracity of their claims.
No concept of technology, what it is, what it means, how it is powering the little left of US productivity. Now that manufacturing has pretty much been destroyed, without the ability to export tech, we will be left as a producer of agricultural goods.
The worst part emotionally for me, is that these idiots are proud of what they are doing.
How could Winkler not have known? These "accounting" practices have been standard in the entertainment industry for decades. He may not have known the exact amount, but he had to know what was being done.
This is one of the reasons that I don't watch movies. They seem to be the product of very organized crime.
Because it gives all appearance of being a standard practice, a RICO investigation would most seem to be most appropriate action for the DOJ to take. Not just against the movie industry, but the music groups as well. Not likely though.
