Premier league football matches are mostly scripted/fake these days, therefore perhaps copyright SHOULD apply in the same way a movie script gets protected.
OR perhaps all those footballers taking dives should be prosecuted?...nah never gonna happen
The government should make patents more valuable by introducing one particular artificial scarcity...patents themselves should be rarer than an RIAA lobbyist that doesn't eat babies.
There's only one type of cord that really needs to be cut and its the noose that the government is tying round its own neck in a misguided attempt at auto-erotic financial asphyxiation.
Weather prediction is slightly MORE accurate than the MPAA/RIAA predictions of a successful business model.....
If the MAFIAA were in charge of TV weather reports, we'd all be long dead from floods before they thought to issue a severe weather warning.
In other news - man arrested for standing outside in the rain....RIAA claims getting rained on outside is a public performance by 'The Clouds' and demands a fee.
There is NO cord cutting...because what they do is unscrew the coax cable from the set top box then throw the box in the trash.......almost no-one has a go at the cable with a pair of scissors.......

can we just get it over with?
THEN when someone tries to remake something by shakespeare or play beethoven they get sued....
Very quickly copyright in its entirety would collapse, rather than the slow strangulated death we have now....

RIP Steve Jobs, though you had your detractors you did more good than harm overall and thats all any of us can aspire to.
We try to see the good in people so that we can look and take part of that goodness into our own lives and become better people.
It's just sad that we can't do that more whilst people are still with us.
