From wikipedia: Research in the 21st century does not support the classification of the eukaryotes into any of the standard systems. As of April 2010, the situation appears to be that there is no set of kingdoms sufficiently supported by current research to gain widespread acceptance; as Roger & Simpson say: "with the current pace of change in our understanding of the eukaryote tree of life, we should proceed with caution."[31]
Kingdoms and Domains are hard definitions to maintain when organisms don't really care about being classified... :P
Hmm. Including *every* manned space vehicle design would probably be better done on a wiki page.... Not sure if Wikipedia would delete some of these an not notable enough, tho.
Re: I don't get the glory in ridiculing others, it just makes the ridiculer look bad
Peter,
I agree there shouldn't be so much "glory" in this ridicule -- but there's certainly some humor to be found on that site. It's like the blogs that point out the bad photoshopping errors that make it into ads and magazines. Ultimately, there's an audience for snide remarks, otherwise there wouldn't be shows like TalkSoup or the DailyShow...
I never really understood flight simulators as "games" -- since realistic virtual flying just seems kinda boring. (I can understand Danger from the Deep, though, since it's a submarine simulator set in a WWII context... but if it were just a simulator without any "danger" -- then what's the point?)
I think it's actually a bit curious why everyone isn't learning sign language in grade school (or earlier). Then at some point there might actually be really cool gesture interfaces that just use video cameras to interpret hand-waving actions.
I don't they did de-boarding simulations... since there usually isn't a set procedure for getting off the plane. (But there could likely be a more optimal one than the current chaos of having everyone trying to get their luggage out of the overhead bins at the same time.)
it's actually the twin of last week's news that was traveling faster than the speed of light... slightly older than last week's news now because of time dilation.
I'm wondering when picoprojectors will really become a practical display technology for smartphones... there seems to be a fine line between the size of a phone and a tablet for some manufacturers!

My previous comment is just a quote from that movie... and it was for Strawbear.
In answer to your query, these questions are written down for me....
