Re: Re:
Cavet Emptor or whatever.
There has been a media push lately about do you know who you REALLY are buying from, trying to explain to people that all the items on Amazon aren't all sold by Amazon.
(I am not that shocked that humans are dumb enough to need this spelled out for them when you can look at the listing and it tells you.)
The $80 shipping charge was there on the screen for me to read before I put it in my cart, but so many people just hit buttons & complain later.
Protip:
If it says Sold/Shipped by Amazon - Amazon is selling it to you.
If it says Sold by X & Shipped by Amazon - 3rd party seller kids, coming from an Amazon warehouse.
If it says Sold & Shipped by X - its just someone using the marketplace and if you wonder how they are offering that new video card at $1000 below all the other prices... you shouldn't be allowed to shop online.
The first 2 options are the BEST options because you get Amazon guarantees & help.
Hell I might have "overpaid" by a buck or 2 in the past just to get an Amazon/Amazon or Shipped by Amazon seller version just so I can have that piece of mind.

The image matters more than anything else.
This is the entire problem.
Its not the cop who killed someone, its someone who besmirched the image of cops by exposing it.
Its not the cop who lied on the stand, its the DA who dared expose the illegal action.
Its not the SEAL who murdered innocent unarmed people, its those who made the SEALs look bad.
Its not the illegal program undermining our alleged rights, its those who exposed the illegal thing.
Its not those who held fire until people came to assist & then struck again, its those people who exposed that crime.
Its not the Captain who raped 20 soldiers, its that bitch who made a big deal of it.
Its not the base ignoring 20 missing soldiers, its because those people reported rape, drug use, being pimped out & must have run away.
Its not the Governor hiding deaths & passing laws to undercut efforts to stop the virus spreading, its that woman who DARED not lie to the media about the real death toll.
Its not the elected leaders who keep supporting & repeating lies that are killing people, its the media for daring to say the lies are lies.
They are supposed to uphold the ideals, but somehow its been perverted to say we must protect the image above all else.
They complain that people aren't trusting or respecting them, but manage to overlook those in their ranks who have repeatedly abused the public trust & been given a pass.
Respect isn't given just because of a uniform, respect is earned.
(I await those screaming I hate military people to distract from the point. I think those who choose to serve have made a respectable decision, but when I see one in uniform murdering an unarmed child in another country I have no respect for that person & the command who ignores what happened.)
Someone can be pulled over for going 5 MPH over the speed limit and end up dead... and the person who pulled the trigger rarely is found accountable. And we wonder why respect for things is in a free fall.

Enjoy your special gift of Delta or Omnicron because shopping bots matter more than getting people vaccinated & end the lies that TO THIS DAY are still coming out of Congress.
Gee once I heard about the backlog, I pushed to find out what people wanted & started shopping then. I hit a few bots that were buying things up at retail and putting them back up at a higher price... I didn't get the things with the stupidly high prices. I managed to pay just about retail for all sorts of a hot childrens toys. I paid attention and didn't buy the item listed close to MSRP that had $80 shipping hidden. I didn't get everything the child would have wanted, but managed to adapt easily.
When the kids birthday rolls around, the few items the evil evil bots had marked way up will be MSRP or better. Life continues.
Perhaps the government should unleash bots to buy up all the hot things and make them available to Karens at MSRP... but only once they get vaccinated.

What common sense?
That a lying grifter lost an election all on his own...
Or there was a global conspiracy of airdropped bamboo ballots and yet somehow they didn't take the time to sweep into every fscking office?
How many courts have thrown out the "election fraud" cases?
Are they all on the take or maybe just maybe the claims of fraud are lies with no evidence to support them?
Evidence is not - I saw someone come in with a bag! So they snuck in 5 million ballots.
Someone brought in dinner for the workers who were doing a long tedious job & a bunch of idiots decided that there were 5000 communists inside the bag ready to change the votes?
Evidence is not - Handing voting machines to an unproven, untested, unbonded "expert" company to audit the machines that resulted in the machines having to be scrapped because they didn't even do the most basic things to keep the machines secure.
Evidence is not - The my pillow guy claiming hackers changed thing when none of the machines were not connected to the interwebs & his evidence is some deep seated belief from his cocaine addled brain that the only possible way Trump lost was because they cheated and not that many Americans got tired of the lies and bullshit spewing out of his mouth & fiddling while 700,000+ people FUCKING ACTUALLY DIED from his complete failure to be a leader.

Were the CHP running a dirtbox at the same time?

What happened to the recordings of the faces?
Are there now open files on people who dared to protest violence from cops, opening them up to future encounters with police?
Police are trained with an us vs them mentality, the issue being that they are trained them (read blacks) are super ninja assassins who can kill them with a look & have thousand of weapons hidden on them just waiting for the cop to blink & then the cop will die.
But then cops spend more time investigating peaceful protests than following up leads about a guy who has been talking for weeks about shooting up a synagogue.
Its one thing when a white woman crosses the street & clutches her bag a bit tighter because she saw a negro walking towards her, a cop in the same situation is liable to pull their weapon the fire because they were afraid.
