the previous post commenting how people have trust in the name Sears is dead on. They will never have a huge customer base for their movie rentals but have some paying a higher fee allowing them to make a few bucks.
Netflix is such a great idea if only Blockbuster had the mind power to think of it first. Eventually if the USPS has to cut delivery days this could hurt Netflix a bit though I expect more people to move towards the streaming service
we rarely go to the movie theaters anymore, the popcorn doesn't taste as good as it used to, a bunch of crowded seats with people coughing, farting, text messaging, etc. Then there is the cost of all this so called entertainment. I'm in the process of putting in a projector and screen at hone, maybe one of those popcorn machines on a cart as well.
I cut cable and landline years ago and don't miss either one.
Long distance rates make a landline a joke, cable rates keep going up while most of the channels you get are junk
A La Carte throws a monkey wrench into the cable/satellite company advertising schemes. They like to advertise " we have over 150 channels " even though 2/3 of them are junk tv, music channels, etc.
