I don't want search engines to show me purely unbiased results (unless I specify that) - I want them to show me things I'm interested in. These things can be identified by my profile, mt past clicks and others clicks on and links to suitable articles.
If I'm looking for the news on the orange idiot, I can imagine it being a safe bet that most people are interested in articles on the orange idiot being an idiot - and a (vocal) minority might be interested in news on what a wonderful job he's doing.
Given that the bulk of the results I get are along the lines of orange idiot is an idiot I guess the engines are working just fine.
Let's not get carried away here - there are 380 premiere league matches a year, so Amazon only be broadcasting around 5% of the matches - I agree it's a start but its more of a bonus to Amazon customers than a broadcast-model breaking revolution.

Surely companies like speedtest.net will have detailed, accurate geographical breakdowns and analyses ready to go - perhaps rather than rely on the fox to tell us how many chickens are in the henhouse - we ask the farmer?
I recently spotted that they are bringing out a Theo Klein - John Deere fix your own tractor engine toy for kids. This is either a clever ruse or a massive snub! From the description: Your little one can take apart and rebuild their very own John Deere engine with the John Deere Tractor Engine. There are 12 steps to rebuilding the engine. They can remove the motor, replace the battery, repair the headlight, check the oil level, repair the cooler, jack up the vehicle, replace wheel and brake disk, replace the mudguard, check the horn, repair the ignition, replace the glow plugs and replace the shock strut. With tools included and lights and sound effects this will provide hours of roleplay fun.

They should probably pause the DDOS investigation for a couple of days and get their requests in for the necessary information and records for the fraud investigation BEFORE the FCC has time to claim its been "lost"

I think the focus should be on the first person who shared it to an unintended recipient of the person who originally created it. If two people want to share intimates that should be their business - if one of them then passes it on beyond then it becomes a problem, by focussing on this specific act we could bring a little common sense to these kinds of situations.

I'm a member of the generation who were shown the 'Tourettes - I swear I can't help it' video as part of a well-meaning exercise to raise awareness of the syndrome and to foster a greater understanding of the issues and stigmas surrounding it.
Unfortunately you can probably guess what happens when you show a bunch of schoolkids a video of people swearing and say its alright they have tourettes - that video did not have the intended effect and neither will this.
