It depends on definition of 'put man on the sun'. /me remembers David Brin's 'Sundiver' novel (except that it required A LOT of new technology even in this world, travel to another star or putting chimpanzee to human intellegence level was EASIER and in the end they just get right above photosphere)
I checked website of physical store chain I use to buy most of my electronic devices. They have group '4k TVs' but only remotely relevant filter option is 'Supports HDMI 2.0'. Detailed model descriptions doesn't show HDCP version at all. They also sell PS4 Pro.
p.s. I'm not from USA. It won't be too easy for me to return TV to them due to this issue, they don't have to accept back it if it 'works'.
So I correctly understood that if I want buy PS4 Pro and 4K TV, it would be wise to also buy one of HD Fury products to avoid any problems? (it will be...difficult for me to return 4K TV to seller)
>An example of how wrong content ID can be: A guy running for mayor in a small town asked a friend to make a campaign ad for him. The result was hilarious and went viral. The Tonight show with Jay Leno had a regular feature where they would air funny YouTube videos. They showed the ad without even notifying him. When a friend told him about it he thought that was great until he got a DMCA notice from NBC. They used HIS video without permission but he got the takedown.
Doesn't it mean that NBC IS guilty of perjury? They lied they have copyright to this video after all.
>Exactly, just like how David Coleman Headley used GPS signals to find his landing spot to launch his Mumbai attack. Since GPS satellites are run by the US government, that would be material support as well. Are you really sure he used only GPS NavStar (system run by USG) signals and not GLONASS (system run by Russian Goverment) ?
>> they could just go to an ISDS tribunal which wouldn't care about >> sovereign immunity.
>Sure, but that's only half the process. The other (and more >important) half is collecting on the judgement.
>The ISDS might not care about the Constitution, but any attempt to >enforce its judgments will have to be done through the U.S. courts, >which presumably will care quite a bit what the Constitution requires.
Are you sure? U.S. companies have property in other countries and those other countries may decided that ISDS decision is more important than U.S. Constitution (after all U.S. signed TPP)
>As long as you're talking about the Supreme Court, this is the same court that has TWICE ruled that PROOF of innocence is not sufficient reason to grant a new trial or release to someone on death row. Can you tell more details?
Re: Re: Another issue to consider is that what is regarded as "child porn" varies from county to county.
in modern world some fanfics describe situations there 13-14 y/o are described as having sex (without graphic descriptions, just stating fact that they are). access to those stories is not restricted in any way.

Malware which monitors everything that's done on device? it's not that easy. if device is rooted - user WILL be asked by SuperSU for permission if device is not rooted to get something remotely resembling keystroke logger require either:manually activating newly installed custom keyboard or newly installed accessibility app. in both cases android will tell in plain English what this means.
except when site in question eiter in preloaded HSTS list (in Chrome all google sites and a lot of others are here) or site asked client to use HSTS and client knew correct certificate (via other means)
@deadzone, your are wrong. DRM usage is author/publisher's option. you will see "At the publisher's request, this title is being sold without Digital Rights Management software (DRM) applied." in many Kindle Store books
You can use eInk Kindle without Kindle Store if your books come from other source and are not in DRMed format. You just need to convert books to .MOBI. You could use Calibre for that.
>So, say I took a photo of a crowded area, say a public beach, who then, according to your view of copyright law, owns the copyright on the picture? The one who took the picture(me in this case), or the people in the picture? you are. but if you don't have model releases from them (or other exception applies) you can't actually use picture
'great danger' is one thing copyright issues are another
Why wintess protection program couldn't be used here to prevent 'great danger'? Also, why ones who send threats to her could be dealt with using arleady existing laws?(Hate speech, etc)
Roskomnadzor sometimes uses per-IP banning. Some of cloudflare's (or for example wordpress.com's) IP get in black list too If you want more details and can read Russian (or think Google Translate is good for you) you can look at http://rublacklist.net/
Well, Amazon for example, charges you about 30USD for privilege of buying things in Kindle Store at any place you want (what else we can use 3G module for?)
