Is anyone really surprised at the fact that Steele would upload the movies and then have Hansmeiers company use a bit torrent client to grab the IP addresses used to download the files?
This is why when you search the titles of the movies you find that:
1) They were never distributed anywhere by any distributor.
2) The titles were never available for purchase or through any VOD service.
3) Were never available at any website for viewing or download other than on a torrent file site.
This is why Prenda and especially Steele will be ripe
candidates for a RICO indictment. They fit the bill for an ongoing criminal conspiracy definition to a "T" in my opinion.
The whole premise of their supposed copyright enforcement litigation after a lot of the Hard Drive Production cases started to turn from having to give a cut of lawsuit revenues to the client, to lets cut the client out entirely and become the client through offshore entities and LLC's and keep all the profits!
Gibbs will be the first to turn states evidence, his legal careers is in tatters, he is facing bar investigations. He has Prenda Law on his resume, and still is facing his share of Judge Wright's sanction award. Gibbs will be the first to turn if a Grand Jury starts looking at RICO.
Duffy will be the next to fall due to his State Bar investigations, his name is the head of Prenda allegedly, and his precarious financial position with Judgements against him, I will bet he turns witness for a deal in a RICO case.
Hansmeier will stay true for a while but not when RICO comes after Gibbs's and Duffy fall, he will want to save himself.
Steele's ego will keep him feigning innocence and stall all the way to the end, and it will be Steele rattling the bars in the pen when RICO comes down.
Steele's own ego in creating LLC and entities and offshore trusts and then using family members address to register them at and his Gmail address will be his downfall.
Steele will be a law schools section on "Ethics and when to know you have crossed the line" and Prenda will be the footnote of how not to run a law firm.
" Pilcher earned just under $200,000, he says, but he never knew what was happening with the suits, how many there were, or who exactly his company was suing. "Getting information out of [Steele and Hansmeier] was honestly kind of painful," he says. "They claimed they didn't want me to have records of specific things in case something happened."
I love how the Prenda gang told their own client "they didn't want me to have records of specific things in case something happened."
Imagine that, I am sure that in normal in Lawyer Client relationships, except where Steele and Prenda are concerned.
I guess when the IRS comes the Federal Garnd Jury investigating the RICO case issues Pilcher a subpoena and visits Pilcher he ought to have some interesting things to tell them.
Another potential witness to nail the coffin lid shut on the Prenda gang.
The U.S. government is doing this as we speak, the U.K. wants to follow the U.S lead. India and Pakistan are doing this, as is Egypyt, China, North Korea, Russia and a few others as well.
Popel think it is only freedoms that you see or deal with in your dialy life that are being eroded, most don't have a clue about the treasure trove of information you leave when your connected to things electronically.
You cell phone, your online use, your vehicles black box, your GPS... all odf it tracks your movements. A lot of people know this but there are far too many that don't have a clue.
There are people who think Facebook is great because it allows you to do all this stuff for free. They never ask though how and what Facebook does with all the information that people put on their site.
Lots of people assume Facebook makes their money from the Ad's you see, but they make more money from your information and the things you like etc.
Their is so much of a persons life that is used and disclosed that most have no idea about. Employers routinely sell their employees payroll information, how much you make an hour, what you make a pay period, what you make a year.
Those credit card offers you get in the mail even though you never applied for one with a bank or elsewhere, come from sources just like I mentioned.
Your cable co, your telephone company, your power company , your bank, all sell your information. So your offline life is up for grabs as much as your online electric life is.
Freedom of keeping your information private is becoming harder and harder to keep private, everywhere their are clauses in things you sign where someone has "we may disclose your information to 3rd parties in the course of our business" written and you sign without even knowing it most of the time.
The digital age allows things to get done easier but it put your information up for grabs that much easier. Digital privacy is under attack at all levels from the private sector to the government, everyone wants to believe all the freedoms are their and they are protected but each day those freedoms are under attack from all sides.
Prenda really had no choice but to settle with Syfert & Nguyen after the lawyer Prenda hired wanted the hell out of that case.
Once the Judge informed everyone of that letter Duffy sent that Prenda had nothing to do with this and the Judge quizzed the attorney hired by Prenda and it was revealed that Gibbs on behalf of Prenda hired him, the jig was up.
Then that brilliant Q & A with Mark Lutz and the Judge where Lutz didn't know this or that and Steele desperately seeing Lutz falter and trying to tell him to say he was a 1099 contractor to the Judge to save Prenda and Lutz was all but comical.
And then Steele so desperate to save the Sunlust case gets himself noticed by the Judge and panics when the Judge asked him who he was, and Steele the bumbling fool cant get it out fast enough that he doesn't have anything to do with this case (now where have we heard that line before) and he wasn't licenced to practice in florida and is now retired.
The fact that Syfert let the Lawyer Prenda picked up for this case what and who he was dealing with, was more than enough that the other Lawyer Prenda hired wanted nothing to do with the case.
Duffy's brilliant letter to the court informing it that Prenda had nothing to do with the case was the start of the Judge getting suspicious.
Then Lutz trying to represent himself as being a representive of Sunlust (now where have we heard of Lutz trying to be a represenitive of a entity before)
The fact that Lutz also said that he appeared around the country as a 1099 contractor for various Prenda cases is on the record, and would have been used in the sanctions against Prenda.
Steele who's famous "I don't know anything about any of these cases, first I have heard of them" was dumb enough to try and pull Lutz ass our of the fire when the Judge was quizzing them and then gets caught by the Judge feeding Lutz an answer.
Syfert wisely pointed out the Stelle, Lutz, Prenda connection, and the Judge obviously picked up from their what a bunch of B.S. Prenda was feeding the court.
They had to settle this out, as damning as Judge Wrights ruling was this one would have been just as bad if sanctions were handed down.
Steele I am sure was on the Phone with Duffy begging him to settle this out, so they didn't get slammed by this Judge.
Syfert and Nyugen won this hands down all due to Prenda, Duffy and Steele's incompetence it would seem in my opinion.
The letter informing the court that Prenda had nothing to do with the case was the first nail in the coffin. Lutz's brilliant answers were the next nail.
Steele panicking and seeing Lutz flaling and drowning and piping up from the gallery to Lutz "say your a 1099 contractor", "say your a 1099 contractor" and then getting noticed by the Judge (nice one John, all you needed was a red nose and some red floppy shoes to go along with the show)was the next nail.
The final nail in the coffin was Syfert bringing up the connection with Prenda, Steele and Lutz that was it for them.
The Prenda gang could in no way have another case where the lawyers might get referred to the bar (yeah again) and get sanction by the coutrt and the Judge making that available to other courts, the damage would have been fatal.
I am sure the facts of this case will be noted in others, however I still cant wait for the 9th Circuit Court to hear the Appeal of Judge Wrights sanctions, that should be most entertaining.
I see someone's bruised ego is hear posting as Nora, gee I sure hope they aren't playing dress up as Nora as well.
Maybe that is why the wife wanted a divorce, didn't like it when they wore her garments around, course that's hypothetical, but might make some sense considering someone picked BitTorrentBetty as a username on twitter and Nora here...always a womans name.. wonder why.
Maybe someone ought to give Doc Brown and Marty McFly a call and let them know that Steele has found a way to go back and forth in time to see events before they happened.
Steele is so desperate to stave off Prenda's demise from the copyright trolling lawsuit game and keep that extortion -er- settlement money rolling in at all costs.
The very fact that he keeps forgetting that a lot of entities and historical WHOIS info keeps landing at his sisters Jayme's house who of course lives with Anthony Saltmrash.
Of course those documents signed by Salt Marsh that were submitted by Prenda to the courts wouldn't have anything to do with Steele would they.
Everyone notice that only after the Defense Lawyers and Judges started to question the signature of Salt March did it come up that Salt Marsh was a trust?
Amazing that VPR International who we are led to believe is a Prenda client sued over that clients films being pirated, yet the address used to register it is Steele's sister house again, wow what a coincidence!
It will be interesting when we see these guys in front of the appellate court and listen to their lawyers trying to explain away how Prenda clients are so connected with John Steele in registration and WHOIS records and people he knows.
I still cant wait for the RICO indictment to come down, there is too much here that would make a RICO case a very real threat to the Prenda gang.
A Federal Grand Jury would have to be wilfully blind to not see that all these entities that had pron films supposedly pirated and infringed, were never sold to the public, never made available for distribution till recently.
The fact that these supposed porn companies have various connections to Steele or his family, or former employess is not going to be over looked.
I would like to see Steele Prenda, Duffy, Lutz and Hansmeier
explain to investigators how and why companies that are supposedly their clients have been involved in various litigation cases for thousands of people across many states.
RICO statutes will definitely be in play here with the Prenda gang. With Duffy, Gibbs and Hansmeier and the various State Bars investigation looming and the 3 of them risk the possibility of the loss of their licence to practice and a possible Grand Jury investigation hanging over them I would suspect their could be some cracks in the foundation of solidarity starting to form.
Gibbs, Duffy Or Hansmeier may want to turn witness and save themselves from going to the slammer, I doubt they want to be middle aged former lawyers rattling the bars in their cells.
I would be of the opinion that Lutz will be the first to talk, since he is the new fall guy now that Gibbs is supposedly out of the picture(I doubt that as of yet even) and has signed onto all these entites as CEO.
Duffy and Gibbs would be the next to fall I believe considering Duffy has his own problems can he really afford to start this late over in life and hang on, I doubt it.
Gibbs name is in tatters in my opinion and after all that has taken place in the courts and the reports in the media, if Gibbs handed in a resume who would even look at knowing Prenda Law is on it, never mind the State Bar investigation.
Hansmeier I think will be the last to fall in my thoughts due to his long association with Steele from the Law school days, that being said and under State Bar investigation and his name close to being mud may change that.
The fact that Gibbs, Duffy and Hnasmeier all are facing the possibility of losing their licence to practice an IRS criminal investigation and a possible RICO indictment make for a great batch of potential state witnesses in a RICO case against Steele.
I am sure Stelle must be calling everyone a couple times a wekk to feel them out and make sure they are still onside and hoping that know one is going to flip.
I'd be willing to bet old John Steele is tossing and turning at night and trying to hide assets in friends, relatives and pets names so he isn't left with nothing when the music finally stops and their are no chairs left for him to sit in.
I will admit I am more than amazed that they did this, but I am also guessing since the hail mary efforts to get a stay failed and the fact that Judge Wright started to ding them a thousand bucks each I guess they figured the bond would be cheaper.
While they have posted the bond, I am sure they will do everything in their power to appeal and get that cash back (wow that latest round of shakedown -er- I mean settlement letters must have paid off)whether they are successful is a whole other issue.
So now that the bond is up, I cant wait to see what the Prenda gang will say when it is time to argue in front of the 9th Circuit Court.
You can pretty much bet that the Judges will be querying the Prenda gang's lawyers that will be handling the appeal.
It will be interesting to see what the take of the Justices on the 9TH circuit court will think when they start to delve into Prenda their so called clients and the Shells and LLC's and offshore trust they are connected with this.
Then the Justices will also hear about the antics of the Prenda gang in Florida, Minnesota, Arizona and of course their home state of California.
It will even be more interesting when they look at the gathered evidence of Pietz and Ranallo, and hopefully that great flow chart with that picture of AF Holdings rep Salt Marsh.
Of course that brilliant strategy that the signature on these documents doesn't matter schtick that Prenda has been lamenting in various cases around the country should be entertaining in the appeals court.
I wont even bother to bring up the Alan Cooper hearing in Minnesota and the Judges comments to Hansmeier of what she thought of Prenda and their litigation strategy.
Don't dump that popcorn stock yet kids, the Prenda gang is going to give us a few more laughs
The fact that Obama and Holder are holding fast that this was an oopsie and a simple mistake is fairly laughable.
Holder seems to think that the monitoring of e-mail and other communications of the Media strikes me as a way to either prevent another Wikileaks style event or they are looking to stifle dissent from their critics in the media.
Not that anyone should be surprised that Obama's government is trying to stifle it's critics (the IRS fiasco with the Tea Party and other groups for example)isn't exactly the first time this sort of thing has happened, and it won't be the last.
The Bush Government smeared CIA agents and many other who were stead fast against the Iraq war campaign and after the war started, and even tried to go after whistle blowers.
Mind you Obama has Bush beat on the punishment of Whistle blowers, in fact the Obama government has prosecuted more whistleblowers that any other U.S. government in history.
Obama and bush weren't the only ones though who want to stifle the press and whistle blowers Nixon too went after the NYT reporter after a story leaked that embarrassed his government.
That being said it would seem there is some kind of a renewed effort to go after and silence critics of the government from a variety of different levels, you see it from the IRS, to the Pentagon, to the White House.
The recent proposals to allow the government to access any kind of communications of reporters, critics, whistle blowers and your average citizen is just the start of a huge collection of following the electronic trail of anyone and sucking up and ciphering whatever data they fell is justified whether your are a suspect of something or just someone who got caught up in the vacuum.
Used to be that government agencies like the NSA were forbidden from spying on Americans domestically, well apparently after William Binney the head of the NSA spying program said that they were spying on Americans that pretty much confirmed what most people already expected.
Everyone I am sure remembers the ATT San Francisco employee who found the plans for that special room at ATT's wire center and how that pipe of traffic was intercepted and routed through the black boxes that were in that room and then to be passed on as usual.
The amount of data they could suck up was quite substantial, and I imagine that capability is dwarfed even more some by todays standards.
The fact that Obama government is trying to give the government unlimited powers to peer into Americans of all walks of society whether their is a belief of a threat or not to America seems to signal what a lot of people have feared, and that is all your private communications are for the government to access, whether there is a need or not.
It seems that the powers that be don't think the constitution matters in it's eyes when it comes to the communications of American citizens, whether you are a suspect in the eyes of the government matters not, but yet you are told not to worry and that it's nothing to be concerned about.
The era of freedom is starting to become a very loose term and one that the government seems to think it at their discretion.
Much like Communist governments have tried to control the government and the people, as such with some of the Muslim governments as well, and even dictator ships, it seems the Obama government as with government by presidents before it
still wants to roll back the freedoms, laws and parts of the constitution it feels are too liberal for the people to have and enjoy.
Tyranny comes in many different ways, and the government rolling back freedoms could be just a start of one version of it.
have to laugh at Prenda's desperation in the Alan Cooper saga. The minute Steele found out that Alan Cooper (you know the real one, not the one that is a figment of John's imagination) had asserted his identity was stolen, Steele was blowing up Coopers phone and leaving him intimidating messages to stay mum.
Steele also could have stated these facts in Judge Wrights court, and even produced the real Alan Cooper which would have ended most of this then and there.
So why not do it? It would have been easy for Prenda to do this and end the whole mess. In my opinion Steele and Prenda couldn't do this because their Alan Cooper didn't exsist.
Steele wont testify under oath in court nor will he swear any pleadings under oath, he knows Their Alan Cooper doesn't exsist except on their paper, so if it isn't true Steele sure isn't going to swear to it anything where he could be caught.
Prenda knows it is in a spot on Alan Cooper and the lawsuit that the real Alan Cooper launched in Minnesota may have been dismissed but there is no way that it is over yet, I would guarantee that.
This is going to be Prenda's Achilles heal and will lead to their demise. Think about this, if Prenda's real Alan Cooper exsisted, then why would they be going so far in re-organizing all these entities and making sure that Mark Lutz is now officially the CEO ( AKA THE NEW FALL GUY)
Prenda and Steele knew they had no choice but top do this, their Alan Cooper didn't exsist, they cant produce him and it was going to hinder their lawsuit capability.
Now they have a new fall guy (Sorry Brent, back to advertising on Craigslist for you)in Mark Lutz. What will be interesting is when RICO comes into play.
Lutz already bugged out to Mexico when shit hit the fan, and I doubt that Lutz wouldn't consider turning to a professional witness to save his ass. Gibbs will be the other to turn especially after being fingered by Prenda as the bad guy in this.
Prenda, Duffy, Steele and Hansmeier are going to be the main targets for RICO. Lutz and Gibbs will be the first to give it up and co-operate. Whether Stelle's friendship with Hansmeier will survive the test of a RICO indictment will be anyones guess.
Hansmeier, Gibbs and Duffy and all up for State Bar investigations some in one state, some in multiple states...but they all possibly risk loss of their licence to practice.
Now if that happens they are going to be a little peeved that Steele risks not losing his livelihood, but they do.
With the risk of heavy fines and jail time in a RICO case I see Steele being the guy that is going to be the man to take down, and I would have to believe that the others will want to save themselves and maybe extract a little revenge in the process.
I have to laugh at Prenda's desperation in the Alan Cooper saga. It's my opinion that Steele is the one pulling the strings for all these entities along with Hansmeier. Steele and Hansmeier went to Law School together in Minnesota and started Steele Hansmeier together.
Lutz is a Paralegal who has worked for various Steele entities. Lutz in that brilliant Q&A with the Judge in Nyugen Case in florida ( where coincidentally Steele was present for a Prenda case...what are the odds!)
Lutz all of a sudden after Judge Wright put forth his Order To Show Cause, becomes CEO of AF Holdings and a bunch of it's entities and Brett Gibbs becomes Lawyer of Record for AF Holdings.
So Lutz who couldn't even answer the remotest questions about Sunlust Pictures and AF Holdings, and basic questions about who works there and claimed in the Q&A with the Judge to be just a "1099 contractor" is a mastermind able to organize Copyright Assignments and buying said copyrights and setting up LLC's and offshore trust's?
Yeah and Elvis is alive and working at 7-11. Lutz has worked for Steele for years and was the voice on the other end of those phone calls looking for Settlements that were robo-dialed to subscribers.
Now suddenly he is the corporate CEO master of business. Yes I doubt that. If you recall in the Deposition Of Hansmeier who appeared on the Behalf of AF Holdings (lordy, another coincidence!) couldn't name any officers of the company and that no one drew a salary every from there that he was aware.
Who knew Mark Lutz was such a humanitarian in working for all these companies and entities for free as CEO (of course while managing to do robo-calls and demanding settlement payments)
I wish I could make that historic rise form Debt collecting and Para-legal work to CEO. Lutz ought to give the good folks at MIT a call and relish them with his tale of how he rose from debt collector for Stelle to CEO of mnay companies, LLC's and offshore trusts.
Sorry but as much as I fell Gibbs that he got over his battle with Cancer, I have to throw some serious side eye at his claims of poverty. Didn't he just finish coming back from his Honeymoon?
Gibbs was a huge part of the Prenda Team, he hired the council in the Sunlust case and Gibbs in the case before Judge Wright is the one who asked to have Judge Wright removed from this case for "Bias".
Gibbs was a long time partner of this scheme and I used the word "scheme" lightly.
Gibbs should have to pay his share of the order for costs. Gibbs could have walked a long time ago when he knew what was going on with Prenda and their litigation tactics, but he chose to stay till the very end.
Now Gibbs is supposedly not with Prenda anymore, but yet he still has e-mail addresses at Prenda related ended entities.
I don't but that Gibbs is totally out of the Prenda machine. I am more than wary that most of Team Prenda lawyered up before Judge Wright's hearing, and the Gibbs did as well.
For a broke guy Gibbs sure can afford someone to represent him. Another rpoint of contention was that when Mark Lutz was all of a sudden the master CEO of these holding companies, why was Brent Gibbs listed as their corporate lawyer AFTER order to show cause was brought down?
In one of the California cases, there was a request for Prenda or AF Holdings to put up a 45k bond, and Prenda complained to the court that it couldn't afford that bond and would not put a bond up, Gibbs was the lawyer in that case complaining about the bond.
Sorry but I see Gibbs and everyone else with Team Prenda trying the poverty angle. Sorry Gibbs, your health may have been ravaged at one time by cancer, but you are and were more than just a hired gun in this little conspiracy, your place in these lawsuits goes quite deep and your were part of this for YEARS!!
Gibbs is not as innocent as he claims and he deserves his share of this order for the 81k. Gibbs was also and has been listed in the documents as the lawyer for the Class Action Settlement Objectors suits.
Gibbs was the lawyer in the Class Action Settlement Objector Suit letter that said for 30k we will drop our objection to this settlement.
That 30k letter in that case was the one that the Lawyer handling that settlement sent a letter back to Gibbs stating he was in violation of the rules and could be seen as what it was.
As a matter of fact that letter was filed with the court and Gibbs was the author of a response letter back to the lawyer handing the settlement, where he told the other lawyer he was being unprofessional and launched a little attack in it.
Sound familiar? That is the Prenda Modus Operandi. Gibbs is far from a victim in all this and his participation in the Class Action Settlement Objectors game shows that he has been more than a willing participant in the copyright lawsuits and the class action objectors suits.
Does Prenda hire there Lawyers from Craiglist or something? This guy perfectly fits Prenda's modus operandi perfectly.
Lets have a checklist of his submission:
1) Submit arguments and exhbits that have nothing to do with case at hand. Check
2) Take Federal Judge's order filed with the court that involves Prenda case and deny that it relates to said Prenda case. Check
3) Blame opposing council for difficulties in arguing said case. Check
4) Ask Judge to ignore submissions by anyone not affiliated with Prenda. Check
By chance before he became a lawyer , was he entertaining at kids parties and making balloon animals and honking a horn while wearing big red floppy shoes? Just curious.
Where is Nora? Maybe she is busy posting away somewhere as BitTorrentBetty.
Love how the Judge kept shooting down Hansmeier "We didn't get to question Alan Cooper" Defence. I notice that he conveniently forgot to mention how He and the rest of the Prenda gang took the 5th.
Another referral to the State Bar, that's twice now for Hansmeier, he better do and apply for that driving course at Truck Masters he may need it.
With Gibbs, Duffy and Hansmeier all being referred to the various State Bar they belong to, and the possibility they could lose their licence to practice, which will leave their career choice dead in the water but yet leaves Steele unscathed.
You would have to think their is going to be a little animosity creeping in to the minds of Gibbs, Duffy and Hansmeier that they are taking the brunt of the court beatdowns while Steele (who is allegedly retired from the practice of law) is left with his law careers intact so to speak.
So if the IRS brought a case forward or a RICO indictment
came down, you would be foolish not to think that Gibbs, Duffy or Hansmeier would consider a deal to save themselves from harms way and maybe to extract a little revenge on Stelle who has escaped virtually unscathed where his licence to practice is concerned compared to the others.
I wonder how Steele is sleeping at night knowing that Gibbs would be the first good candidate to cut a deal since Gibbs seems to be on the outside looking in as far as Team Prenda is concerned.
It will be interesting to see what the Federal & State AG's come up with in their investigation and the IRS Criminal Division with their investigation of Team Prenda.
I would bet their are a lot of people are moving their assets in to wives, girlfriends (or boyfriends if your so inclined, right Nora -er- I mean John) and even Pet's names to avoid a possible forfeiture of assets.
Of course there is also the possibility if a RICO indictment comes down that some long Jail sentences could fall on some of Team Prenda, unless of course some of Team Prenda cuts a deal, but I would bet Steele will be the guy holding the bag.
Of course just my opinion, but who knows one day our dream may come true.
John -er- I mean Nora, are you trolling again. Looks like having to settle with Nyugen to keep from getting sanction in that case has made you a tad upset.
Maybe Nora is just worried that Steele is going to take the big fall, since it's Gibbs, Duffy and Hansmeier who are all referred to their various State Bars and could have a variety of things happen with their licence to practice law while Steele escapes that happening to him.
Could be Nora is a little worried that Gibbs, Duffy, Hansmeier or Lutz could always turn into a witness of a RICO case came down.
Obviously Nora is worried that the others could strike a deal and maybe extract a little revenge for their careers being in tatters while Steele escaped without any penalties from the State Bar(s) he belongs to.
Must weigh on Nora's mind a lot that there is the possibility that with a possible RICO case, someone from the group could flip, with the IRS Criminal Division case someone could flip.
Of course this is Hypothetical for now, but we'll have to see what happens.
John -er- I mean Nora, you seem to know a lot of graphic details of what goes on in various porn acts, you must watch a lot of it
I would have to guess in the Sunlust vs Nyugen case that Prenda et all out of fear of another round of sanctions coming their way they decided to settle rather than take another beat down.
For those that read that brilliant Q&A between the Judge and Mark Lutz and then the Judge and Steele stammering and scrambling to try and put as much distance between himself and the Sunlust case as possible.
There was no way they were going to want the Judge coming to a conclusion on what was really going on in this case. The judge was a little ticked at the goings on of Prenda, Duffy and Lutz.
At the end of that hearing the Judge chastised a few of the participants of Team Prenda for what she perceived as a fraud upon the court.
In the SF case with Judge Chen, I would have to assume that Judge Chen thought there could be some aspect of believability to Mark Lutz's claim that he signed some documents on behalf of the Salt Marsh trust with the trusts name.
Personally I don't really buy that, I am sure they knew what they were doing, Judge Chen I am sure was skeptical as well but gave them the benefit of the doubt here.
Judge Chen knows what is going on in the case that was before him and around the country, so he was smart enough to let this one go considering Prenda is taking on water and heading to the bottom.
Judge Chen is aware of Judge Wright's order and his notifying the various State bars and the State & Federal AG's along with the IRS Criminal Division, so I would think he knows that is in play so while they may skate in the case before them the hurt is still coming to Team Prenda.
This is far from over for Team Prenda. There is still the possibility of a RICO indictment to come and who cuts a deal and who gets hung out to dry.
On the post: New Filing Presents Evidence That John Steele Uploaded Videos To BitTorrent Himself

I love how the Prenda gang told their own client "they didn't want me to have records of specific things in case something happened."
Imagine that, I am sure that in normal in Lawyer Client relationships, except where Steele and Prenda are concerned.
I guess when the IRS comes the Federal Garnd Jury investigating the RICO case issues Pilcher a subpoena and visits Pilcher he ought to have some interesting things to tell them.
Another potential witness to nail the coffin lid shut on the Prenda gang.

Bwahahahaha Nice Pic John, were you waiting your turn on the stripper Pole? What all male strip club was this at?

On the post: Facebook, Google, Microsoft, Twitter And Yahoo Refuse To Cooperate With UK's 'Snooper's Charter'

On the post: Florida 'Abbott And Costello' Prenda Case Ends Not With A Bang, But A Whimper
Maybe that is why the wife wanted a divorce, didn't like it when they wore her garments around, course that's hypothetical, but might make some sense considering someone picked BitTorrentBetty as a username on twitter and Nora here...always a womans name.. wonder why.
On the post: John Steele's Claims About Alan Cooper Contradicted By History
On the post: Paul Duffy Does, In Fact, File A Bond To Cover Fees In Prenda Case
On the post: Reporters Tell Attorney General Eric Holder They Won't Agree To 'Off The Record' Meeting As Scale Of Journalist Spying Expands
On the post: Prenda Continues Character Assassination Of Alan Cooper

On the post: Another Court Tells Prenda To Pay Up On Attorneys Fees
Truly the American dream!
On the post: Ex-Prenda Lawyer Brett Gibbs Pleads Poverty To Judge Wright
Sorry Gibbs, better get that chequebook handy!

On the post: First Hand Account Of Judicial Smackdown Of Prenda In Minnesota
On the post: Angry Judge Tells Prenda To Stop Falsifying Alan Cooper's Signature; Calls It Fraud
John -er- I mean Nora, you seem to know a lot of graphic details of what goes on in various porn acts, you must watch a lot of it
On the post: Prenda Gets Some Tiny Bit Of Good News, As It May Get Out Of Two Critical Cases
The fun is stopping just yet.
