Of course, that's because Cancer Joe here is immoral and he admitted it when he used that avatar without paying anything to the makers of Dodgeball, being such a freeloading Lord High Cancer Apologist.
Once I attended a conference with one of the original programmers of Twitter. He basically said they changed the whole "friend/unfriend" terminology to the "follow/unfollow" one, because people would angst over "why has person x unfriended me? are we no longer friends? what did I do?", and logically users were more wary of "unfriending" their contacts.
Well, I think we have to congratulte average_joe on his heel face turn!
He convinced Mike that he had some really bad jurisdiction issues on his terms of use, and talked him into removing them! I think that means we'll be seeing more of this kind of selfless behaviour on him from now on, where he'll call off all those abusive music labels on their contracts and convince them to remove them.
Guess he's not as hopeless as I thought. Welcome to the Light Side.
The best part, he pretty much admitted he is the guy that barges in, screaming "cancer apologists" at the doctors for not dedicating the seminar to the immorality and unfairness of cancer.
Interesting. So you're suggesting that doctors in seminars about cancer shouldn't objectively focus on the nature of cancer, what works and what doesn't, but they should cry about how cancer is horrible and evil and killing people *tears* *shakefist at sky* DAMN YOU CANCER!
Good thing doctors are such horrible dirty immoralpiratethieves and instead try to have constructive talks about cancer!
"Ok thats a great attitude and policy. But, now, how do you get the libraries to know your fantastic terms, and who you are and what your product is. These terms are going to be very attractive, but you still need a way to get them to know about you and your products."
I agree. We need a system, where people and libraries can send messages all across the country (nay, world) very efficiently and at a very low cost. This system will allow everyone to tell everyone else about these authors and their great terms.
I now for a fact I was going to buy Anno 2070 when it was on sale on Steam. I even had it in my cart and was about to hit "pay". Then I remembered "Wait, this is Ubisoft" and double-checked the product page. Right... limited activations. Fuck that.
This after demoing the game for free for about a month (and finding the extra "features" like ark upgrades worth paying for a few bucks at a discount).
Cue Anonymous Coward complaining that his privacy is somehow being violated by this statement, don't you dare reveal who he is, and never mind how he doesn't think any other person has any right to privacy or having their identities protected.
