It's funny (funny strange, not funny haha) that you can commit ACTUAL defamation in a bogus defamation lawsuit and not get called on it. What Nunes lawyer has stated in his complaint is far past the pale compared to what is alleged, even if it were true (and it's clearly not to anyone with two brain cells).

No, that was very funny. Humor is subjective, but his post only wouldn't be funny to Fox news lovers, who should be laughed at just for the principle of the matter.
Sucks but they can still go after the thieves in blue.
No, they can't. All they can do is sue the department in civil court to reimburse them - on the taxpayer's dime. The thieves got away with it cleanly. They face no repercussions at all from their thievery.
They need to hurry up with those filters! I'm tired of noisy images - they give me eyestrain. A smoother look to the porn is just what today's youth is demanding.
The point of the saying "News at 11" is portraying the event as so commonplace and of such little importance that it won't make the more important evening news and is instead relegated to the "dead" time slot of late night news.
Good point. Today's cops seemed to be in mortal terror when apprehending a single unarmed teen while surrounded by more than a dozen fellow officers, all with drawn firearms of all sorts.
Can't have police living (in the slums) with normal people - they might be a-feared for their lives! Give them more money so they can live with the beautiful people who are their real responsibility.
It's sad because that totally assumes that people are incapable of making a decision based on evidence - that a sensationalized account on Fox TV or the National Enquirer (to put it in US terms) will form the whole of their opinion on the matter. It's even sadder that that is actually the case most of the time.
Fortunately, here in the US, nobody watches the news or reads the papers, so it doesn't matter. :D
The problem here is that connections (especially in the US) are asymmetric. People rely on youtube to host their video because there's no way they could possible stream the video to more than one or two viewers at a time on any reasonably priced connection. Relying on youtube's servers means hundreds to thousands can watch your video at once, even with your cheap low-bandwidth connection.
All this article says it that many people have used this in an incorrect fashion for centuries, therefore it's okay to continue using it incorrectly. They even give examples where it can't be used logically at all, but even when it can, it's still better done in the correct fashion.
He said $20 MORE a month, not $20 a month. And while some people don't consider $20 worth stopping to pick up, millions of others would literally shank you over $20. Net neutrality also covers more than just simply higher bills, so it's not simply paying $20 more a month. If it were, people would grumble, but that's it. People are getting involved because it's a lot more than just $20 more a month at stake.
I can easily envision competitors posting anonymously or with throw away accounts to get copyrighted content on a site just to file a complaint, hoping to sink the competition. EASILY. We already see dirty tricks on the net, and this just makes it even easier.
