the accumulation of wealth over everything else should be treated as a disease imo. these types of people should be sequestered away from the general public and examined by doctors to figure out how to help with this serious mental illness they have.
if it is a staff member odds are they have a petty dictator situation. If it is a student that is accused of raping some one, then i would suspect it is the son of a prominent local businessman or political figure, the school is being paid to keep quiet
I believe the ultimate goal behind those who do this sort of stuff is to set up a dictatorship with the newly minted prime minister for life or king if you prefer ruling over everyone else who just got turned in slaves and serfs for their pleasure.
I don't blame them considering how much the "free world" governments keep bombing their cities, overthrowing democratic governments and replacing them with dictatorships.
They have very good reasons to be pissed off at us.
no punishments will happen for those that knowingly broke the law yet again solely because they are treated as above those same laws they keep getting caught breaking.
They have every incentive to keep breaking laws because they will not be held accountable for spitting on their oaths to protect and serve.
Or they might just start shooting at anyone that looks like the supposed suspect like the case with chris dorner where the police went trigger happy on various people that fit him or his car's description without giving a warning they just opened fire.
I would question if the reason they ignored the security flaw was because some of them had been selling access to children's info to various unsavoury types.
Apathy only goes so far before a cash incentive to look the other way becomes the prevailing reason to ignore security issues.
If someone really wanted to they could start questioning that school if they were helping pedophiles by selling them access to the info. That would certainly light a fire under their butts to explain why they avoided fixing this until it was forced.
warrants are for those that do not have the backing of dictatorial powers with no oversight. These are the police who we trust with military grade weapons for some reason despite their constant abuses of authority and wanton murdering of unarmed civilians.
