Boycotting won't fix anything. They have enough business cutomers to survive even if they lose all their consumer business. And willingness to spy sure helps get those government contracts.
On top of all that, AT&T isn't the problem. It's the government and sketchy laws they use for mass surveillance. They're the ones doing the spying. AT&T is just making it easier for them. So boycott the goverment - if that's even possible.

You don't believe he's honest yet you keep reading his stuff. Do you actually think you're doing anyone here a service? Or have you just found someone you feel superior to?

And maybe you'll man up and realize what a waste your life is spending years hounding some blogger.
You could go back 50 years and find this same kind of petty authority, and it probably happens in other countries too. The only difference is now these idiots get worldwide attention.
An investment means you hope to generate a profit. You don't profit from crowdsourcing. At most, you get a product, which makes it a conditional pre-sale.
As if they hadn't already thought of that. All they have to do is file a counternotice, and then you'd have to actually sue them to get the content taken down.
The problem is that third parties are stuck in the middle between copyright owners and infringers. They shouldn't have to deal with any of this at all - takedowns or lawsuits.
Not to mention that Google Apps copies Microsoft Office, and does the online component of that better than Microsoft. Really, the whole history of software is nothing but copying and improving on what someone else is doing.

If Google had as much power as you propose, the law wouldn't have been passed in the first place. Idiot.
