A thought occurs: ya know how sometimes brand names become synonymous with certain things; like xerox meaning copy or coke for soda--its within the realm of possibility that SOPA may become a word synonymous with toilet papar...
There's excellent money to be made. I hear the market for convincing counterfeits of classic artists is pretty booming, they've even got some on display at the Louvre.
Or, if you're of a less criminal persuasion, there's a pretty legit market for replicas--but the money's not as good.
If you piss off one customer, s/he'll be sure to influence 10 friends against you.
If you make 10 customers happy, one will likely influence a friend in your favor.
I learned that effing ages ago in the pizza business--and it still holds true.Our theoretical college student would likely not only hold a grudge, but also spend years telling anybody who'll listen about that one time those UFC lawyer arseholes sued him.
Seeing as we already know how they think regarding customers and fees--charge them for every visit anybody makes to any domain in their TLD... that should seem 'fair' to them.
