Wow, that really seems like a nice working environment that in now way seems to encourage harassment and instead foster a culture of standing up for what is right even if it means going against your colleges.
What could possibly go wrong?
What also to remember is that the article said that it would be free "for at least the next seven years". Nothing at this point says that they won't keep going, they are just guaranteeing the seven years.
Happens all the time. Just remember: In Sweden we make furniture and movies with naked women and in Switzerland they make clocks and cheese.
Should make it easier to seperate us ;)
My thoughts exactly and how about Google? And if someone has written about the guy in a blog...?
And why weren't the jury allowed to know that he has been acused before? I would be hard pressed to belive that would be the case if it was a "criminal" on trial instead of a policeman...
I wish that was true but the pirate party is hardly at the top in Sweden. Think we got 2% of the votes last election. Not enough to get even one seat.
The pirate party in Germany on the other hand has had lot of success latly.
It might be better for the companies but it's not good for the gamer. It's not that uncommon that you as PC player get free DLC:s that the poor xbox players are forced to pay for since Microsoft doesn't allow you to give away too much free stuff.
Know who else lived off notes? Einstein...
If it was good enough for him...
But if this guy managed to learn all this in that time and managed all his exams... the university should get him into a doctorates education or maybe look over the difficulty of their exams.
To add to this, if you are afraid that we are becoming docile then it is the old time media you should be afraid of. To watch or listen to some one elses work of art is to copy the feelings the artist tried to communicate. So who is the most docile? The simply watching consumer or the copy and recreate consumer?
You only say that until you become a registered sexoffender for having sex with an younger girl/boyfriend. Or for extra fun. You send a naked picture of yourself to your SO and you get convicted for spreading of childponografy.
But hey! We only do this to protect the children...
Considering that people convicted for a crime in U.S aren't allowed to vote in at least some of the elections I would say yes.
You might be inocent until proven guilty but there is apperently no way to repay you debt to society.
