"“We wish Glebe Farm total success in their plant-based journey moving forward,”"
pulls out the decoder ring
We still hope that what we cost them will damage their ability to compete in the market & serve as a warning to anyone else daring to enter the oat milk marketplace that clearly belongs only to us.

Huh we are now letting college kids get paid for their likeness being used... how much does IOC pay the athletes for broadcasting their image & their media partners using their names without compensation.
I mean its not like the IOC even offers a stipend for them to compete in their event & then keeps all the cash & rights...
Its not about sports or price or anything noble... it was about making a buck for an entrenched group of grifters who seek rent & somehow manage to get paid even though everyone knows they are demanding kickbacks and special treatment while leaving the athletes to fend for themselves in a pandemic.
Perhaps its time to stop bidding on hosting this bullshit, no nation has managed to make a single cent after all the cost overruns & special favors are handed out.

This is a hugely bad idea.
They can't even make sure to deactivate the anti-theft tags half the time, and now they have something magical that after its sat on a shelf for a year will still be waiting for a bluetooth signal to deactivate some magic dohickey permantly?
Cause I can see the lawsuits from people when they have to crack the thing open to replace a battery & then get it deactivated again so they can use the thing they made the mistake of purchasing from HD.
Are they ready for customers to demand the right to make sure the tool functions before leaving the counter?
Cause I gotta think if someone comes back even with a receipt with a device that didn't get deactivated they are gonna treat that customer like a thief rather than admit sometimes their checkers miss a step.

My pick would be the text books imported from other areas going to SCOTUS to decide if he had a right to buy things & then resell them.
Perhaps if they had included disclaimers about trademarks belonged to others blah blah blah (like in cosmetics advertising) they might have managed to skate past this.
I can make a website that says Sony sucks, but I can't buy controllers add a sucks sticker next to the Sony logo and give them away?
While people might like seeing these giant IP bullies swinging on each other, the problem is when they come to an agreement it in no way going to work out well for us. See also: How many seconds of sampling is okay and how many means 90% of the profits goes to the person sampled label.

What if the only thing to come out of the games no one dares name is a bunch of infected athletes who never should have been forced to compete in a country where the pandemic is raging?
This isn't about sport, this is about money for a few idiots who decided a global pandemic shouldn't put a damper on their income.

Huh, I wonder if students can sue the various bars who still use this crap.
IIRC there were multiple test takers who discovered that the testing package left their machines open to hackers who helped themselves to all sorts of PII.
The warnings were so strong there were those taking the test who bought a brand new computer to take the test knowing they would wipe it at the end & never use if themselves because it cost to much to certify it would ever be safe to use.
Given the number of lawyer who represented Trump & his claims across the nation perhaps one should ask if the Bar has become worthless, they do not deter the unfit & only take action to reign them in well after the barns burned down & been rebuilt 3 times.

The world is more than Facebook.
That ancient tv commercial for shampoo... and they'll tell 2 friends & they'll tell 2 friends and so on and so on.
While it might be in code they all have the ovaltine secret decoder ring & they keep spreading it.
Here is the harm. VICE has a story about a survivor of Stillman Douglas who's own father believes it didn't happen & his child is a paid crisis actor. He is dealing with his own PTSD, grief, & everything else and his own father is saying you were never in danger. Not like he can talk to other survivors, he refuses to bring the toxic to them. His mom won't help & hes finally decided to just cut ties with them for his own sanity & wellbeing.
His own child was almost murdered in a school shooting that he now believes was totally a false flag & daily accuses his child of being an actor & sellout.
