"there’s no place for profanity by a school and school children"
Please to install monitoring devices in all homes with children so you can make sure no parent exposes their child to worse. Make sure you monitor them online to make sure they children are not exposed to profanity online.
"The judge, while handing down his ruling and sentencing, rhetorically asked if a balance could be found between the homeowner’s freedom of speech and a mother having to explain what the f-word means to their child."
Nope. There is no balance, there is just rampant morality run amuck form the bench.
I once again bring up my when a Judge blows a 1st Amendment ruling in this way, they need to be off the bench until someone figures out if they had a stroke because they've forgotten the bedrock of the nation.
Something something Jersey Shore... your arguments are moot.

My brain... its different.
I scanned the headline and my brain said Nativity.
Brain decided to build an internet nativity scene.
Baby Jeebus - The users.
Mary & Joseph - The paternal figures trying to make the whole world safe for the baby, they are not prepared for the task.
Balthasar, Melchior, and Gaspar - The 3 pillars of big tech who also believe they know best, often acting to make sure they get more benefit than Baby Jeebus.
The Angels - Those who know what the interwebs COULD be, who often have problems getting the rabble to listen to the good word.
The Shepherds - The leader of the different groups who listen to the braying, grunting, bleeting of their flocks & claim they know best for Baby Jeebus but they could care less about what happens to Baby Jeebus they just need to keep the flock following them.
The Ox and The Ass - The flock who know nothing about how things actually work but demand the Shepherds make their desires manifest, ignoring that those same Shepherds will lead them to the slaughterhouse to gain riches.
The Straw - The actual internet. They keep walking on it, crushing it, while demanding it keep them warm, feed them, comfort them, protect them... but no one seems to want to shovel the crap away to reveal the truth.
There was a point in here I think... that or I just let my brain run free letting Baby Jeebus doing Neo's moves in the Matrix.
It entertained me, maybe you'll get something out of it too.

How dare you try to make a framework that reflects the reality of the situation and not the imaginary trillions of dollars we KNOW you are stealing from our news outlets.
Perhaps Google should compile a list of how many times someone has clicked a link in Google & been directed to the news site & assign a value.
There are many ways they can keep Google away, but they never do that because they need the traffic. They just want their industry propped up because they have refused to adapt.
All of the harm they claim Google is causing is dwarfed by the damage these sorts of rules are doing to the little guys who end up in these agreements, but never offered a share of the bounty.

Re: Re: Re: Not a mistake
Instead of going after the platforms, here is a wacky thing they could do...
Force Congress to admit Covid is a thing.
If you can get that to happen, then look at other places to flex on.
We have Congressmen who were claiming Covid wasn't real or not that bad as they jumped the line to get the vaccine first.
They still claim its really kinda not a thing & the base ignores that they all took the 5G Gates Death Nanobot Shot (ITS SARCASM for the impaired who are qualified to be Twitter staff) that they are still not willing to admit works & everyone should get it if they can.
I mean I know Italy went to far when they arrested a buncha geologists over a volcanic eruption that killed people, but we have "leaders" in this country who lied to the public about their risks, withheld assistance, and are still causing bodycounts because they fear Trump saying mean things about them.
Its what 600K dead now? We have nothing in our system to hold leaders accountable? The death count is magnitudes higher than it should be because "trusted" leaders are still lying.
Until Congress can clean its own halls, anything they try to make happen elsewhere is pointless.

O M F G...
Fire them.
They are mentally unfit for the job.
If the mural makes them this upset imagine what might happen if someone tried to photograph them beating the crap out of a black kid, or dared call them a pig... These are people who should not have weapons and QI to murder anyone they want.

The case where a Judge bitchslapped the DOJ lawyer in front of the jury after it was suggested reasonable doubt wasn't a thing.

It probably took Ken under 5 minutes to write that statement & with the top people around him the best they came up with was looking as bad as Trump.
