Wouldn't it be great to see Google take AT&T out of their index?
I know so many people that would go to Google, type in at t and then go to their page. I bet they get more than half of their traffic from Google, they might want to be careful.
They got what they needed, he can't get in trouble for what's on his computer now, but they know what was there and that's all they wanted, I am sure...
What's wrong with having the latest AV and updates? I fix problems from viruses all the time because someone didn't have the time to update their computer...
I don't think they should block the traffic, I mean traffic is traffic, and they have to leave the site somehow...Another link somewhere, hopefully an ad.
This isn't a new system though. You want a lot of links for Google to like you and you want "word of mouth" advertising (friends giving out your links) to drive your business.
Let's worry more about what the GOV does with our info
Have you heard of the Polk Database? I worked for a company that paid for a copy of this, which is available every quarter.
This info has everything you want to know about a person, and an IT guy with access can find anything. All the data on where you live, how much money you make what kind of car you own. EVERYTHING!!
Mix that with what the ISPs have (OUr click data and where we visit) and you know everything you need to know about a person.
Honestly, because now I reach more people when I talk or type, it is a problem. If I were only allowing people to listen to me in a small forum there would be no problem.
Say what you want to say, just don't say something like;
(put persons name here) killed (put other persons name here) without proof. That's wrong, but you should be able to state an opinion like,
If She/He killed them, then She/He is a dirty f uc king pig.
