I see nowhere in TFA where he tried any other reasonable avenues of communication. What I do see is that he decided that those avenues of communication were not appropriate (his decision) and that Twitter was, for some reason.
If you read the article you'd know that he isn't missing this at all. In fact he mentions multiple times how pieces can be obtained. He also explains why they are not./div>
We've been subjected to this in Minneapolis since 2001 at the HHH Metrodome. There are folks I know that regularly smuggle a six pack of beer in -- if they can do that I'm certain they could get something nefarious through./div>
Wrong about the one pass of zeroes being totally unrecoverable. There is sideband data that with the right tools can be reconstructed. It's difficult and expensive but to say it's an urban myth is just plain wrong./div>
