The police state the U.S. now enjoys continues to simply desensitize it's people with example after example of alphabet agencies routinely breaking the only "laws" that really matter, the constitution. The casualness of it sickens me.
Seems the entire system is corrupted, from those that introduce these ideas to useless judges that find ways to justify them. Occasionally holding up a righteous act as proof everything is fine for a public determined to stay in denial.
I don't respect the DEA or the "laws" that allow it to continue it's needless criminal activity. They, along with so many others, simply need to go. I'm not concerned with "blue lives" nearly as much as I am with my country's freedoms.
People presume Police are here to protect them and that their superiors keep a watchful eye on them. They presume the courts will keep police in check should entire departments get out of hand. This just isn't the case (any longer) especially in large metropolitan areas. There's a reason the avg IQ of police has declined while steroid use has increased. The system WANTS thuggish intimidating police forces and equips them both mentally and physically towards that end. By eliminating any real oversight and consequence, we're sitting in the "sweet spot" of tyranny, at least for these types of organizations. It's when the people aren't quite mad enough to stand up and physically fight back, but that's already beginning to change. The government has been feverishly prepping for a fight against the people, militarizing even small town forces, shoot first mentalities, zero tolerance toward any citizens that dare not instantly comply, demonizing any group that could pose a threat etc. So why is this happening? Could it be a predictable financial collapse is just around the corner? A constitutional rewriting or circumvention that will create too many pesky patriots that will need to be dealt with? Could it be just a well intentioned government preparing for the worst by creating atmosphere of fear and intimidation? The bottom line is that it's not just Texas, this is being encourage on a national level and the spotlight we notice happens to be on Texas this time.
How about we take a vote in the U.S.? We'll just see how many are willing to take their chances with a handful of actual terrorists from time to time OR continue having government protect us by stripping away freedoms, money and dignity.
I can almost understand Comcast's evil nature, it's what many colossal corporations end up doing. What's infinitely worse is how our government is so completely corrupt that they don't even try to keep up appearances anymore, they just completely sell out right out in the open and use doublespeak to sell it through the media. My conclusion is that the government has big plans to better control and of course monitor the internet, so they need a company like Comcast to be their front man. I shudder to think what things will be like in just a few years. There's one simple reason why this is happening, people with money and power wish it and now that the safeguards have been subverted, it's all too easy.
I now have greater empathy with God of the old testament. To be so thoroughly disgusted with what you've created and then allowed to become so corrupted that you simply want to destroy it all and start over. So many, including myself, have lost complete faith in every branch of government, it just seems beyond saving at this point. This may not seem like a big deal to a lot of people, but it speaks volumes of the government's desperation to control and shape the media that it can't even allow the smallest of concessions.
Citing "Peer reviewed" over and over is like a Christian holding up the bible as proof of God. Too many have a vested interest in promoting climate change as completely man made so others can profit from it or exploit it in other ways, so not many dare introduce data or studies that show a different result or risk their careers. Ideas like Cap and Trade are ridiculous, but demonstrate that mentality. As usual, the truth is somewhere in the middle and extremists from both camps should be ignored equally.
If you believe the punishment fits the crime in this situation, I hope you get to experience that first hand one day. There's the letter of the law, and then there's the spirit of the law. Prosecutors are some of the worst people in existence, countless examples demonstrate this. If you believe destroying this man's life was justified, you truly do not understand the details of the case or the world you live in. You're cheering your own demise.
I'm fascinated by how accurately I can sum up the type of person I'm dealing with by reading just a few simple sentences from them on topics like these.
Alphabet agencies will fight tooth and nail to keep data collection going strong. They've consistently lied about almost every aspect of these programs and you can bet are busy working out ways to circumvent any upcoming restrictions. Lets face it, this is just theater to quiet and reassure the public. People also need to realize that the president doesn't have as much power as they think.
Pure theater. This woman gives new meaning to the word puppet. Politicians don't need to convince everyone or even most people they're legit, only just enough sheeple to keep the rest of us at bay. It's pitchfork time.
Since race is being used in comparison I thought I'd add a different perspective for the MSNBC crowd. I'm "white" and grew up in the projects in Annapolis, MD during the 70s. We were one of only three non-black families. My experience with blacks were that most of them were the most hateful, violent, racist people on the planet. For many years, on an almost daily basis, Gang beatings were a fact of life for me. I can still hear the chorus of "White MF" through the bell ringing after being kicked in the head over and over. I remember the apartments we lived in surrounded a glass ridden playground that shimmered like the ocean in the sunlight. Whenever fights broke out, the parents would all come out to their balconies, like a roman arena, and cheer it on. Of course ten blacks kicking the hell out of one white kid was a particular favorite. That level of hatred isn't easily forgotten. I think I have more of right to be racist than most blacks but I try not to lower myself to that level, it's not always easy I'll admit.
To this day I don't see color in a person first, but if you're rolling up on me like a hood rat with all your gangster attitude, I'm prepared and largely intolerant. Only a fool would ignore the fact that black on white crime is hugely disproportionate, the knock out game is a prime example of how the media plays down things that don't suit their agenda.
But back to the point, whether it's gays, blacks, whites etc, you're not required to like every group or person you encounter. Your personal experience is what defines your attitude on a great many things, this is not a bad thing, so don't allow yourself to be brain washed , be your own person and have a little common sense. It's not the color or sexual preference I dislike, it's the behavior that infringes on my way of life I have a problem with and I'll fight back against it tooth and nail. You have the right to be gay, hey good for you, but don't push it in my face or tell me how I "must" approve of everything you do just because you're gay. Seriously, how would I even know you're gay unless you're advertising it somehow anyway?
It may seem odd, but I have quite a few gay friends and the worst gaydar going because for most of them I never knew it or cared and little changed after I was aware of it. My black friends know what I'm about and where I'm from and show me a strange respect that's hard to explain. They know I have their back, but they also know I'll call them on their BS.
So again, a little discretion and respect from all sides would go a long way.
Really like the "Right Arm". Looked for something like this months ago and ended up building my own. If the price is reasonable, I'm all over this one. Nice find.
Again, are police really that arrogant to believe they can continue doing this to people over and over with absolutely no repercussions? There are literally millions of "patriot" type people out there armed to the teeth and when the risk of giving up peacefully becomes to great, things will hit the fan all at once...I hate to say it but maybe that will be a good thing. In the meantime, personal surveillance is new concern I never thought I'd have.

Maybe we presume too much
So why is this happening? Could it be a predictable financial collapse is just around the corner?
