This is normal, the previous generations have completely locked up the real world for the new generations. The virtual world is the only place where young people can have a voice and do something with their live.

You're maybe right or *not* (Minecraft is a good example). But, please, give an example where a law has lead to innovation and creation. Legislation is a destructive process. Laws always reduce your freedom, sometime it is necessary like laws against murder, rape, ... It think there is enough laws to protect intellectual property. Everybody know that it is illegal to share works which are not yours. Now it is time to stop spending millions on laws and protection and start building real alternatives./div>
Don't try to understand those people they are all morons. They are the reason why EU is dying. They all try to keep the old business running by making thousand of laws. It only accelerate the fall. At least they still continue to make billions. But for how long? With no innovation, delocalization, short term strategy, ...
Gabe Newell's statement is all right. Even if Steam is not perfect it is the only real alternative to piracy./div>
