Just some rough numbers I thought would add some additional context to this story. The U.S. is only adding about 6,000 people to the total population per day.
Some assumptions for the next bit: 2013 U.S. population growth persists. The FBI continues to register at the 10,000 per day level. The relationship between U.S. total and U.S. adult population stays the same.
With these three assumptions.
Half of all adults could be registered as soon as 17 years from now, and 50% of the total population, not just adults, could be registered in this database within 30 years./div>
